UPDATE:

We've got all the letters now.

A I D M T N E I M O I V L A M and the white ball is blank.

Gladio and I have had a go at putting them together in various combinations. We've been able to make lots of individual words - VOID, DIVE, LOVE, ATONE, etc. - but, when we try to use all the letters, each combination seems to have at least one letter left over and none of them make any sense:

MAIN MOTIVE DIAL M
MAD MOVE INITIAL M
MOVE MADAM LINT II

Can anyone see anything in them that we can't?

I need help, please. In the Billiards Room.

The balls - they've got letters on them now, instead of numbers, and they're floating.

I've managed to catch three - L, A and M - but I can't reach the rest alone.

I want to know what they spell.

Has anyone seen any particularly unusual gatherings of animals about the place? Other than the obvious multitude of rats, that is. I had a rather... unusual encounter, and I was wondering whether it was an isolated incident or not.

It's an interesting set up that you have here. I'm not sure of the overall purpose of the design yet. But I imagine there must be one. There usually is.

Explore all you want, but if the furnace isn't kicking back on and we all die from hypothermia, you'll wish you thanked me for starting this fire. Taking every and all useless but flammable products to the lounge for a controlled burn in the fireplace.

I am relieved to announce that the rats in this building appear to be disease free, though I would not recommend interacting with them more than necessary just in case.

At least there was no strange liquid this time Has anyone happened to find a key?
