Characters: Veronica Deveraux, OPEN TO ANYBODY
Setting: Alley behind some local dump in the FQ, 12:20 am 4/14/2011
Content: R, violence and foul language.
Summary: Little fight with another wolf, and not sure from there.
Progress: Incomplete
A shadow moved towards her, she held up her hands infront of her to perfect her balance, or atleast give the illusion that she wasn't already stable. Suddenly the shadow was inches infront of her, something slammed into her face causing her to stumble back. "What the fuck....", she said as she raised a hand to her now bleeding nose. "Seriously...", shifting her weight she charged forward, grabbing the 'thing' where ever she could get her hands on. In that instant, she saw fur and yellow eyes, shit it was another wolf. Her mind began to race, attempting to make a mental list of anybody that would want her dead. She gave up after the list started getting to long. "Listen here buddy, you need to stop before you force me to do something harsh..", the wolf responded with a growl. Alright then, guess we aren't playing nice.
Veronica shifted her weight, using all of her strength to pull the beast closer and over her shoulder. Twisting her upper body slightly, she slammed the beast down into the concrete. Claws flew at her face, her left eye was starting to fill with blood. Shit. She let out a noise between a scream and a growl, slamming her fist into the beast's chest, pounding repeatedly. The sound of bones snapping and flesh ripping filled the area, her hand forced it's way to the beast's heart. A demonic smile formed on her lips, "Flame on buddy boy...", her arm and hand burst into flames, the beast howled beneath her, twisting and jerking to get free from her. She grabbed the beating heart, feeling it burn inside of her fist. Once the beast stopped moving, she stood, wiping her hands off on her black shirt and glancing down to the beast. She watched it turn into a young blond man, she didn't know him, which meant he wasn't part of the pack.
Turning around, she stumbled towards the sidewalk as she used her shirt to wipe off as much blood as possible. The cops didn't like it when they saw somebody wandering on the streets covered in blood. Lucky for her, she wore black, it hid blood pretty well. Veronica really wasn't in the caring mood, and thankfully it was so late at night that most of the cops were busy with the idiots on Bourbon Street.
