zebraspots05, who asked for Snupin with bondage, but no bloodplay. You do not want to know how much I almost wrote non-con, but I knew you wouldn't enjoy that, so this is what you get :) I hope you like! Beta'd by the amazing

News travels fast in Hogwarts. Secrecy is a word turned upside-down inside the castle walls, where it means nothing more than whisper to anyone you know. Which means that everyone knows everything - and the teachers' staff room is the crossroad where every bit of information is exchanged, often with a wry smile, sometimes with a concerned look.
Of course, Severus comes barging into Remus' office when he finds out about the Boggart.
Remus expects it. He has kept quiet about the incident, hoping againt hope that perhaps, just perhaps, news about it wouldn't reach Severus' ears. Of course, life once again doesn't indulge him and makes things as complicated as possible. Whatever truce Remus could have wished to hold with Severus has just been blown to the wind.
"Lupin!" Severus snarls as he whirls in, a storm of black robes and face twisted in a vicious expression. Remus jerks up from the essays he has been working on. His usual pleasant smile freezes on his lips and leaves his face with a puppet-like mask, a little distorted and a lot creepy. But Severus doesn't notice, consumed by his rage. His black eyes have gone completely blank, not letting anything out or in. Remus instantly knows that reasoning with Severus in this state will prove impossible. He is reminded of scenes from his past - of Severus hanging upside down in the air, his underwear showing, of Severus watching Lily and James kiss and storming off afterwards, with Remus hidden in the dark, and every time Severus' face showed the same mindless fury. He is wearing it like an invincible, impenetrable suit of armour.
So Remus doesn't try to say anything and waits for Severus to come to him.
"What did you think were you doing?" Severus demands, eyes glittering darkly. Remus wonders for just a moment of how much Severus is capable. He has a fair idea, but the question remains, how far will Severus go? Remus isn't sure he can still assess that.
"I taught them how to defend themselves against Boggarts," Remus says calmly, his thoughts hidden behind a mask of his own. Neutrality is his automatic response to emotionality.
"No. No, that wasn't your intent," and suddenly Remus looks in the eye of the storm so close to his face that black is all he can see. The unfathomable depth threatens to drag him under, and Remus fights, fights like he never has before. There's a crack in the mask now, in both masks, undone by the force of the storm. The wheels of time stop turning, begin turning backwards, stop again. They're back to being children. They're back to the stupid war that constitutes their time at Hogwarts: who can hold Remus' attention longer (and later, who can hold Lily's attention longer, but that's a memory Remus isn't too fond of). They're back to the moment Severus realises Remus is a werewolf (snarling biting drooling), and they're back to all the moments afterwards when Remus tries to gets an ounce of Severus' attention (Wait, Severus, wait! We need to talk!). And then, then they're back to Remus drifting away, giving up as Severus turns to Lily in his fury (I don't want you, filthy werewolf) - and find themselves back in Remus' office as time moves forward again, still staring at each other, memories swirling wildly underneath the surface. Remus doesn't back away; it's not over yet, there is more to come. The masks crack and Remus thinks he might have been waiting for this moment since their last honest encounter. He holds all of Severus' attention now, at long last.
Payback, Severus' eyes speak as they glitter maliciously. Remus can tell he's hanging on to his self-control by a threat.
"You need to be taught a lesson in respect."
Just like that Severus' mask cracks completely open and he's crushing their mouths together over the table.
The kiss is violent and unforgiving, fury and frustration and years of something else dominating it; the kiss is pure Severus, the epitome of his essence, and Remus yields to it without asking questions because he knows, god he knows.
Severus leads and Remus follows.
Severus breaks the kiss and sidesteps the table in two quick strides. This is the other half of the storm coming at Remus; still vicious, still angry, still unrelenting. Severus shoves him back against the windowsill and is upon him immediately, devouring his mouth, his jaw and the spot behind his ear.
"Severus," Remus gasps as the Slytherin bites his way down his neck. It's been a long time since they've had this - too long, too long - and it feels familiar, like they've done this a million times before but it was all a dream, they haven't really and the reality of it is startlingly different. There's more urgent intensity than there used to be, more experience speaking from every flick-lick-thrust of the tongue, more deliberate accuracy in every movement.
Remus knows where this will end, but he will enjoy what he has until the moment comes. He knows Severus too well to think he'll be able to distract him: focus is the Slytherin's forte. So Remus' hand clutches at Severus' robes, holding him near; his hips arch into Severus', his rapidly hardening cock seeking friction. He drags Severus' face up to his again, and they tear at each other for long moments, Severus' tongue stating its victory as they rock against each other.
Then Severus is gone, out of the office and the storm over, a last wall of air hitting Remus as his body strains after the other man. He whines in frustration. So close, so close... So close Remus didn't notice Severus working a charm until it's too late and he's tied to the window's iron bars with magical rope. They always have this effect on each other: unable to stay indifferent, they are at each other's throats.
Remus tries to bring his body back under control, smiling as he wriggles his hands to keep the blood flowing.
The masks are cracking indeed.
