11:06 pm [_dolus]	Q is for Quiet! Hello loves! Alex here with my slight hiatus post. I'm leaving for San Diego tomorrow and might be hella quiet. Or I might get some chances to post. 7:36 pm [corvissa]	Sorry guys, I have been utterly too quiet this past week. I head home tomorrow and once the steams stops pouring off of me, I will be back. Honestly, no AC for a week and temperatures in the late 80's and higher (not to mention the humidity of living on Long Island) is killing me. Can't breathe for nothing. Anyway, I will be leaving tomorrow and depending on what time we leave, I might get on when we get home. If not, I'll see ya on Thursday. =) (Comment on this)

11:06 pm [ensnared_mods]	Note! Okay, so it just occurred to me that I haven't marked the Prefects down any where on the site for the time being. I am going to fix that here in a moment but this is a perfect time to tell you to comment here if you would like one of your kids to have an open spot. Currently the roles look like this: Gryffindor Prefects: Madeline Montgomery-Selwyn and OPEN Ravenclaw Prefects: Dominique Weasley and OPEN Hufflepuff Prefects: Tad Hopkins and OPEN Slytherin Prefects: Ivy Flint and OPEN Gryffindor Quidditch Captain: OPEN Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain: Dominique Weasley Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain: Logan Higgs Slytherin Quidditch Captain: OPEN Summer Team 1 Captain: Tad Hopkins Summer Team 2 Captain: Logan Higs ETA: For reference I randomized the Houses to provide us with the Quidditch standings for the previous school year: Gryffindors were winners of the Quidditch Cup for the previous school year. They beat out Ravenclaw 310-120. The match was held on a stormy day and lasted nearly six hours before the snitch was caught. Slytherin defeated the Puffs in the consolation match 250-190. Leaving the final standings for the year as Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. As for the House Cup it went as the following: Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin. 2:50 pm [ensnared_mods]	OPEN! AND WE ARE OPEN! As such feel free to introduce yourselves, your characters, and to start posting things in the communities. As of 9am this morning students were free to move into their cottages and are expected to be in and settled by dinner time. It is encouraged that families of the students help them settle in and leave as quickly as possible. Students would have gotten their housing assignments in the mail the previous weeks with their cottage and room assignments. Roommates are something they would have found out on arrival. Students have been housed one from each House in order to promote building bridges and school unity. All students are required to report to dinner at 5pm sharp at the noted establishment in town, as the camp is located only a short walk away from Hogsmeade. It is there that quidditch captains will be appointed for the summer term, Prefects remain the same as during the school year and are encouraged to report people breaking curfew, and schedules will be handed out. I ask that you stop over to the Activities Page and make note of each character's activities. They are required to do an internship/job-shadowing (or quidditch in place) and take at least two classes although they are free to take as many as they would like, long as they meet the basics. Also if you have not filled out the Secrets Page please do that as well! On that note there are no birthdays for this week. The closest upcoming birthdays are of the Montgomery twins the 26th and 27th of the month. Hit the friends button and again welcome! 3:25 pm [vibrant_weasley]	Intro! Alright! I will get things started by sparing you the long winded speech on who I am and all that jazz. As everyone knows me fairly well so onto my flock of kids: Lets start with Dominique Weasley vibrant_weasley! She is the middle child of Bill and Fleur and would like you to know she's not Victoire in the least. Dominique is very much the "it girl" of Hogwarts; she's a Prefect, Quidditch Captain for Ravnclaw and one of the front-runners for Head Girl. She's vivacious, loquacious and prone to capricious whims. When she likes you you get to bask in the glory that is her and her bubbly personality and all the perks that go with it. She will be the first to tell you popularity is like having money in the bank, the more you have the more you can get away with. That's not to say she's mean or anything, Dominique is nice until you cross her. Try to double cross her and she will spend the rest of the year snubbing you. Most of the time she's happy, laid-back and just a ball of energy. Evan Avery a_doppelganger is very much everyone's favorite brooding Slytherin. His daddy is in Azkaban for dealing in cursed objects as far as anyone knows and his mum, Flora Carrow, is a retired socialite that spends most of her days hiding in their country-side manor hiding her shame of her husbands conviction. So he wasn't coddle as a kid and it shows. Evan can be as moody as the day is long and tends to be very blunt with his words. He calls them as he sees it and he doesn't care if its what you want to hear or not. He always is causing trouble for the shake of doing it too. He hates being bored as much as he hates Gryffindors. That's just how he is. Juliet Wood romanticnotions is the daughter of the famous Puddlemere United keeper Oliver Wood. She's gentle and laid-back and prefers to keep out of the spotlight. Since her father is typically traveling or doing events, she spends most of her time with her Muggle grandparents. Like the rest of her family she is a quidditch player though she is certainly not as oriented about the sport as the rest of them. She prefers to read and daydream instead. Madeline Montgomery-Selwyn quixoticvisions is the youngest of the twins and a Gryffindor. She's pretty easy to get along with and otherwise is pretty typical. She's got a good singing voice, plays piano and guitar, and is decent at her school work. She is also the quidditch announcer. What most people don't realize about her is that she is also a Seer. It is not something she has shared with anyone outside her sister and best friend. It is also why she has avoided Divinatation classes. She wants to keep it a secret as long as possible.
