It was like chasing the sun.

Katie and Emilie had set out from Dublin at dusk just when the sunset's colors had merged with the night sky. Now, several hours later on their final approach into Oliver's sleepy Scottish village, the sky seemed brighter. Perhaps it was the end to a dangerous journey finally in sight.

Katie could see the smoke from one of the many chimney's puffing away and she thought of what it would feel like after the long journey to curl up in one of Gram's over-stuffed chairs with her feet by the fire. Even Emilie seemed to grow excited as they finally started their descent into Gram's familiar garden.
