I am able to sneak away any day next week, save for Thursday. I have a final dress fitting for my wedding gown ~~save me, please~~, and Aloysius is expecting a friend for dinner. If you'd like, I can tell Aloysius that we are going to a French restaurant so that I may practice actually speaking French a bit. Either that, or I can floo somewhere while he is working in his office. He never pays attention when he is working. Your choice.

Meet me, then, on Wednesday, at L'Oignon Qui Hurlant. I'll make reservations tomorrow morning for seven, but if anything changes I will let you know. I will meet you inside the restaurant. Obviously, you know to dress nice. I've never been there, but I've heard it's a very formal place. After that, it's your choice where to go.

Thank you, but I am perfectly able to take care of myself. I am not hurt as easily as you would think. Do not worry about me, I have been in situations more dangerous than this. What more could Aloysius do to me, anyway? I'm already engaged to marry him.

I cannot expect you to forgive me for my behaviour, and I am not so certain that I truly deserve to be forgiven. I will explain to you why I acted as I did and it is my hope that you will be able to understand and forgive me, no matter how undeserving I am.

My explanation may sound silly, but I beg you to listen with an open mind. You are well aware that I play the piano, though you may not have been truly aware how important it is to me. It is as much a part of me as are my arms and legs. It sounds ridiculous, but it's true.

Very recently, I finished a song that I had been working on for a little over a year. Aloysius, upon finding out about this, insisted that I play for him. I did, of course, and was met with nothing but criticisms and insults afterwards. After everything that he has said to me, I thought that this was the only thing that I could still do right.

It was not fair to you to have been the person I took my anger out on, and I am so very ashamed for the way I treated you in my previous response. I can only ask that you forgive me, though I cannot expect or honestly say that I deserve it. There was no excuse for the way in which I behaved.

As for our reservation, I think it would be in poor taste to cancel, as they are a busy establishment and it is only by my father's name that I was able to receive a reservation on such short notice. It would reflect poorly on my family and you as well, though I do apologise.

It is natural to feel that way given the circumstance. But, Lisa, do not let him get to you so. His opinion is irrelevant.

~~I shouldn't~~ I'm not in a place where I can make you any promises. I'm being very stupid to even agree to meet with you and let this go any further than it already has, but I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that I want to see you. You have been honest and kind in our sessions and all of this despite barely knowing me. I'm drawn to your sincerity and this is the most honest I've been in years.

I will see you tomorrow, and even if we only talk, know that it means a great deal to me.
