Who: Susan and Seamus What: Seamus comes to get a Daily Prophet from Susan. When: April 29, 2000 Where: St. Mungo's Status: Complete Rating: PG
Susan was quite proud of herself. She had not said a word to anyone and had even, she thought, concocted a convincing story to tell Hannah and her father when she got home that night. Not surprisingly, her father had hardly even noticed her absence. Susan felt bad for lying to them about it, especially Hannah, who was probably going mad with suspicion. She would not have been surprised if she was stalked on her way homme from work one night. Really, though, she liked having a secret- it made her feel interesting and rebellious, two feelings that Susan rarely felt.
Since she helped Seamus that day, she kept the latest Daily Prophet with her, just in ace he would pop up to get one. It wasn't just that she felt rebellious or interesting, but she felt like someone depended on her to some degree. Being a typical Cancer, Susan was, of course, overjoyed to have the ability to take care of someone, even if it was just giving them a newspaper. Susan wondered how Ronan was, and if he had gotten better as she had predicted he would. She hoped so. He should have gotten better without a problem. She had wondered how Seamus would contact her if things didn't get better for Ronan, but then again, she was sure there were a few other Healers working there that would have a heart.
Susan left St. Mungo's at the same time as usual, following far behind the angry-looking redhead. She had stuffed her lime green Healer uniform in her bag as she did everyday. Though she tried not to be too obvious about it, the moment she stepped outside of the old department store, she looked around for either Hannah or Seamus, though the latter would most definitely not be out in the open. Seeing neither, she couldn't help but feel disappointed, but continued on her way, towards her usual Disappration spot.
