I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the Mages Convention earlier this week, and a special thank you to our sponsors, lecturers, entertainers, volunteers from the Fighters Guild, and staff who made the event a success! It was a great privilege to host the convention and to meet delegates from all across Ivalice.

We would also like to apologize to anyone who might have attended the Potions lecture. That behavior is not an accurate representation of the Emillion Mages Guild standards and expectations, and we hope that the incident did not deter anyone from their enjoyment of the convention. Also, we apologize to anyone who felt [...] ill effects from the Flan lecture, and again, we hope that everyone received the prompt medical attention they needed after.

That said, we look forward to the next convention and we hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time!

Trade routes are reopening and prices are once again dropping. I fear it is time to determine where we go from here. Of course, having such a streamlined process for getting goods into the city without the scrutiny of the law is such a convenience that dismantling it now might be a disservice to our city. Perhaps we can find another way for it to be of use.

Thank you to everyone who came to see The Marriage of Fedoro over the course of these last four weeks! It was quite the show, wasn't it?

And speaking of Fedoro, there are about a hundred promotional posters left unclaimed, and you can pick one up for 10G at the Sphere box office as a memento, with the proceeds to go to a relief charity of your choice - there are several available, which is unsurprising considering everything going on lately. The cast have also signed ten of the posters - these will go for 100G to the first ten people who wish to purchase them.

If there are any citizens who have hovercars that they would like to lend to transport any wounded fighters from the Outlands back to the city so that they may receive the proper medical aid as quickly as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. You will be compensated for any damages rendered upon your vehicle during this effort.

Please report to the Mages Tower with your hovercar so that we may account for you and your vehicle and properly equip it with the medical necessities.

If there are any members of your guild who are able to fight who will be staying behind, please let me know who they are [...] just in case any groups of undead head this direction. I know trust that the threat will be taken care of away from here, but [...] just in case.

I will be sending as many white mages as we can spare to leave behind to attend to the guildhalls as well. I will do my best to be mindful of where the need for healing is greatest.

For those who will not be joining the fighters, please let me know and I will direct you towards a guildhall where you will be working. If you have your own clinic, let me know your availability of space so that as any injured fighters come in, we will know who will have the resources to attend to them properly.

For those of you who are going out into the field with the Fighters, please remember that white and holy magicks and fire will be the most effective against the Undead.

For those of you remaining behind, I hope we won't need your magic if the enemy come towards the city walls, but be prepared to fight if it comes down to that. I will also need your assistance in organizing the hovercars, among other things, so please let me know if you are available to help me.

Scholars, remain in the tower unless you have been assigned to assist with healing in the guildhalls, and mind the senior mages.

I just wanted to reiterate what Peony said. We cannot thank you enough for your efforts on the docks and at the beach to keep the citizens and fighters of Emillion and the palings safe.

The palings still sustained some damage, and we are working with the Fighters and Bards Guilds to better fortify them in the future, but the city would be in a much graver condition if you all had not answered the call. In the days to come, expect to see more announcements from either Peony or myself or the other guilds' councilors as more information comes to light.

Aspel brought up an idea to have cross-guild training sessions so that everyone will know how to work together: mages and fighters and bards all together. I think it's a great idea, and we'll probably talk about it more at the meeting, but what do you think?
