I highly recommend The Con Man! It's a new cast from the one that showed a few years ago, but this cast is absolutely phenomenal and the music is fun and the story is great! It's showing at the Sphere until Scorpio 25th, and believe me, it's worth seeing again and again!

Hi! I don't know if you remember me, but we met at the Lux & Livre about a month ago and you recommended some white magic books for me? They've helped me out a lot with Protect and Shell. I still don't think I'm anywhere close to being able to do Wall yet though since I'm still not as consistent as I'd like to be with those two spells but I haven't been able to look at the Esuna book yet, but I know it'll be just as useful!

Anyway, you had offered that if I needed more help to ask you and [...] well, if you aren't too busy, maybe whenever you're free, you can help me with Esuna more? I'm hoping to be able to crack open the book sometime this week so I won't go into it unprepared, so don't worry, I won't waste your time! But I don't want to impose so if you're terribly busy, then I understand!

I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the Mages Convention earlier this week, and a special thank you to our sponsors, lecturers, entertainers, volunteers from the Fighters Guild, and staff who made the event a success! It was a great privilege to host the convention and to meet delegates from all across Ivalice.

We would also like to apologize to anyone who might have attended the Potions lecture. That behavior is not an accurate representation of the Emillion Mages Guild standards and expectations, and we hope that the incident did not deter anyone from their enjoyment of the convention. Also, we apologize to anyone who felt [...] ill effects from the Flan lecture, and again, we hope that everyone received the prompt medical attention they needed after.

These three days have been an ABSOLUTE DREAM. I have learned so many useful things through the convention--I made so many notes, I will have to purchase a new mage lecture notebook this weekend! And the breakfasts were DIVINE! What bakery made those delightful little raspberry cookies? I didn't think it was possible for cookies to be an appropriate breakfast food, but the convention proved me wrong! Perhaps we could extend the convention for just one more day? Pretty please?

Also, I require some advice! What book store would you recommend visiting, if you were on the hunt for an Ordalian play in the author's mother tongue? The translated copy of Poquelin's Terpsichore I found in the St. Iolus library was, well, lacking. I'm not exaggerating when I use that word, either--I strongly suspect that the translator for that particular edition was either drunk or lied shamelessly about his knowledge of Ordalian subregional languages.
