There will always be sunshine when I look at you...
Who: Reinholdt & OPEN!
What: Hey look it’s a Tuesday, time for a ball!
Where: Reinholdt’s estate.
When: Evening.
Rating: PG?
The winter holidays always had been his favorite, and the glee in which the guildmaster strutted about the various grand tables of the heartiest food, finest liquors, and groups of people could be seen long before he approached. Once more, his estate had been done to the nines in decorations with elaborately embroidered tapestries depicting scenes of holiday cheer, winter weather and seasonal tales, the best flowers he could find within the city, and import from afar, and mistletoe, because honestly, what was a holiday party without people making out under sprigs of green, and getting caught in awkward situations if not highly entertaining? No expense had been spared, if it were on the food, the drink, or the entertainment, as Reinholdt was known for his parties having the best, and for his rather obscene love of hosting this ball. Which he seemed to attempt to find a way to ruffle the feathers of the nobles with every year for some time running at this point. While the nobles may give the guildmaster strange looks, and even stranger looks to their company, no one really dared to speak too extensively against the Duke simply for understanding of his position. Regardless of the looks, regardless of the potential ramifications to his personal reputation, Reinholdt still yet, continued on in the manner that suited his personal tastes just fine. After all, what would being the GM to the Bard’s guild get him if he didn't have a little fun from time to time? Though, of course, the members of his guild were the most fun - and he’d stick with that opinion to the death of him. Of course, that was why they easily obtained personal invites as often as he could manage. Not to mention, it was terribly funny to watch as they interacted with everyone else about. Though, with his personal amusement aside, Reinholdt continued to look out for opportunities to encourage, and perpetuate a positive experience with the ball. What were the holidays for if not bringing assistance with good cheer? |
