Summary: Neville's not sure where he heard the word, but he's pretty sure he can make Anthony laugh.
Notes: For celandineb, who wanted Neville/Anthony, "twatwaffle". Don't look at me like that—it was Cel's prompt!

They don't fight much—they usually discuss things, and that's okay with Neville, who had enough of fighting during his last year at Hogwarts.

But on the occasions when they do fight, Anthony's always so serious about it, as he is with everything, and sometimes—Neville swears he can't help it—something strange happens in his brain and he becomes determined to make Anthony laugh. A corner of his mouth will twitch up, though he'll try to stop it, and then suddenly he's saying the most ridiculous things.

He's not sure where he heard the word, but suddenly it's out of his mouth and Anthony is just staring at him, mouth slightly opened, his eyebrows peaked.

"What did you just say?" Anthony asks.

Neville can't answer because he's too busy trying to suppress his laughter because he can see it, just there, Anthony's mouth twitching in much the same way that Neville's was, and then Anthony cracks a smile and shakes his head and slumps his shoulders and puts his arms around Neville.

"Maybe I have been a bit of a—a twatwaffle, after all," he says, and Neville knows this is his way of apologising, and the two of them laugh together into their kiss.
