Dividing by Two (Percy/George, PG-13)
Title: Dividing by Two
Pairing: Percy/George
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 142
Warnings: See pairing.
Disclaimer: Not mine. JKR's.
Summary: Some numbers divide by two.
Notes: An Advent Drabble for [info]benebu, who requested Percy/George, "brothers".

First there were seven and seven didn't divide by two and so there was Bill-and-Charlie and there was Fred-and-George and there were the two babies, and then there was Percy who never had a place and who bounced around, never settling.

And now there are six and they're all divided. Bill-and-Fleur, Charlie-and-Beatrix, Ron-and-Hermione, Ginny-and-Harry. And then there is Percy and there is George and neither of them have a place, and that's why they come together, George thinks, in a silent night near Christmas when snow silences everything that's unimportant.

Percy's not Fred, but Percy's George's brother, still, and maybe it's time George found out what he's been missing.

And so they come together and George finds that kisses are kisses and skin is skin and Percy's not half the arse George always thought he was.

Ten divides by two as well.
