Notes: An Advent Drabble for
maple_mahogany, who requested George/Lee, prompt: Percy.
Lee never let George be grumpy for long, and George had been grumpy since he'd got back from the Healer. He bemoaned his fate—his sentence, he pronounced it—of eyeglasses, though Lee had scoffed and reminded George that he was forty, for god's sake, and really, it was inevitable, seeing as two of his brothers and his mother wore them for reading, and his father and another brother wore them all the time.
At this George flopped onto the sofa, sending up a dramatic wail.
"I'm going to look like Percy," he moaned, throwing a hand over his weakening eyes, and Lee flopped right down on top of George, prying his hand from his eyes and administering a kiss and a smack to his freckled cheek.
"Shut up, you," he said, and George put his arms around him, holding him fast.
"Promise you'll still shag me when I'm old and grey and bespectacled," he demanded, and Lee did, laughing.
"I just don't want to turn into Percy," George said then, "That's one of the worst fates I can think of."
"Come on," Lee said, making quick work of unbuttoning George's jeans, "Can it really be all that bad?"
"Yes," George replied, "It can. But it might be a less painful fate if you keep doing what you're doing."
Lee flashed a wicked grin at George.
"I could manage that, I think," he said, snaking his hand into George's boxers.
"Brilliant," George sighed, making himself comfortable and spreading his legs a little wider.
"Besides," Lee said, tugging George's jeans and boxers down, "The whole glasses thing might have unexpected benefits, you know."
"That so?" queried George, bringing his knees up.
Lee nodded and ran a finger down George's erection. "Absolutely. You never know. Some of us may have had fantasies about those speccy Head Boy types."
