Three Canon Facts Meme (Various, PG)
1. Bill's best friend is now, has always been, and will ever be his brother Charlie. He knows Fleur resents this but it's something inborn, something that can't be helped. They take care of each other and understand each other better than most people probably think possible.
2. Bill loves women and everything about them. He had his first girlfriend when he was seven, and he told her he loved her and wanted to marry her when they were big. When Charlie found out about Rebecca, he sulked, and Bill told her he wouldn't be able to marry her after all. Bill loves women and everything about them, but he loves his brother more.
3. When he pierced his ear, it hurt worse than he expected, and a couple of days later it showed signs of infection, but he told no one, attempting to heal it with his wand and what his mother would have called good old-fashioned soap-and-water. He was glad when it cleared up: an earring is cool, a pus-filled infection that you have to confess to your mother is decidedly not.
1. Charlie hates getting up early, but he does it anyway. Too much sleep puts him in a rotten mood.
2. He's slept with fewer women than most people probably think. Luckily, Charlie cares little for what other people think.
3. Spring is Charlie's favorite time of year for one simple reason: hatching season.
1. Gideon, as it happened, was straight. Fabian, as it turned out, was gay.
2. Gideon called Fabian "Fabulous Fabian". Fabian called Gideon "Arseface".
3. Gideon thought he was dying so his brother might have a chance to live. Fabian thought the same.
1. Harry was really confused when he started getting erections, and when he'd wake up in the mornings with sticky sheets. Naturally, his aunt and uncle had never explained sex to him, and he thought something was desperately wrong with him--that he'd been cursed or poisoned or the like. He had no inherent shame about his genitals, having never been taught to be ashamed, and so he finally went to Madame Pomfrey and she explained everything gently. After that he was fascinated.
2. He really, really dislikes Earl Grey tea.
3. He has a pretty high pain threshold--you've got to when one-seventh of a Dark Lord resided inside your skull for seventeen years.
1. Kingsley keeps his head shaved partly because it looks cool, but partly because it never quite grew back right after an accident in Auror training.
2. He's quiet about his sexuality for his career's sake, but he'll never stop wishing he could keep family photos on his desk the way his coworkers do.
3. He's pretty positive he'll never be able to fully express in words exactly how much he loves Augustus.
1. Neville still laughs to himself remembering the day he dressed his Snape-boggart in his gran's clothes.
2. He has to make a conscious effort to have all his things with him before he leaves the house. He hates that he has to keep a list (wand, wallet, appointment book...) stuck up by the door, but if he takes it down it's a guarantee he'll forget something important.
3. Neville has never told anyone, out loud, that he loves them. Except his parents. And he thinks that probably doesn't count.
1. Oliver has plenty of other interests besides Quidditch, thank you. It's just that he likes Quidditch more than most of those other things.
2. He will probably never stop being just a little bit in love with Angelina Johnson.
3. He's an early riser. In school, he was often up with the sun, even before Percy. This was partly because Oliver loved to get in a few laps around the Pitch in the dawnlight, and partly because he knew it irked Percy.
1. Percy will never stop feeling badly for leading Penny on for so long.
2. He likes his glasses, even if wearing them means he's constantly referred to as "the Weasley with the glasses". Anything that sets him apart from his siblings can't be a bad thing.
3. He's afraid of dying alone.
