Elyssa's Casino--A Role Play Game

Liz took a deep breath. She was done. She had just finished her last exam of the school year and it felt exhilarating. It felt as though a large weight had been lifted from her shoulders. Her life for the past year was basically writing papers and studying. This particular semester had been hard on her. Her course load had been heavy and she had struggled to keep on top of all of the work. There just seemed to be so much to do and not enough hours in the day.

But for now, she was free from school until the fall. No more essay writing or studying for exams. No more late nights in the library. She almost didn't know what to do with her spare time.

It was late afternoon when Liz left the campus. Instead of catching her bus, she walked the two blocks to a local, independent coffee shop/used book store. She loved this place and she often came here to work when she wanted a change of scenery. It certainly helped that they had the best hot chocolate and iced tea in all of Shreveport. The used books were definitely an added bonus.

Liz browsed the shelves for awhile and picked out several books. Reading was her guilty pleasure and she had not picked up a non-school book in ages. Taking her small stack of books to the cashier, she paid for her books and ordered an iced tea before sitting down at a table where she opened her book and started to read.
