Splosh! Splosh! Splosh! Splosh!Her legs were getting quite the workout this afternoon as she tried out a pair of wooden shoes that were supposed to give her the ability to walk on water. And
without the assistance of magic, no less! Imagine that. All the same, Charity found the whole ordeal to be rather trying. For one, the shoes were heavy, which meant more energy was required for her to move anywhere. Then there was the issue of the chunks of ice that floated about, and the freezing weather, which did not improve the fact that she was splashing icy water all over her legs whenever she took a step.
Still she continued to tread her way around the lake for the sake of education.
