Georgia had entered the grounds, and was currently walking around. "Office, office..."

Really, she needed to find something better than her current short-term options, and, well, she was already known to the local doctors.

Well, the office is easy enough to locate. Look for the building that's outgrown itself at the base, and look for the outside door that says 'office' on the wall next to it.

Edward's currently sitting at his desk, going over some blueprints for the clinic. Just last minute details and the like.

Georgia was just going to knock on the door. Not because anyone was really around, but she might as well let people know she was coming. She came from a society where many people were armed and didn't like surprises.

"Excuse me? Is the landlord free?"

"It's open!" Edward calls to the knocker, setting aside the blueprints. "Yeah, I'm available."

Georgia walked in. "I don't know if you remember me -- the one who nearly brought the zombie plague into the Nexus?"

It probably wasn't the best opening. Hell, given how many people in Georgia's world who changed their surnames if it even remotely resembled Kellis, or the sudden drop in male babies named forms of Alexander, just as Georges went through the roof, zombies and the people who made them were a bit of a hot topic.

Edward's expression is dry. "I remember you," he says. "Come on in, you've been declared clean enough by the virologist and Winry, so I'm comfortable. What can I do for you?"

"Stairs are fine. If you have anything that doesn't get much sun, that would be best. Or blackout curtains and low intensity lighting. I don't know if Doctor Rockbell mentioned my eye condition." She gestured to her sunglasses.

"Also, do you have Internet?" George was standing, still, a bit restlessly. Honestly, she'd never had to do this -- she and Shaun hadn't been making enough to move out, and Shaun wouldn't use his own better income to leave Georgia with their parents.

"I can tamper with the curtains that are installed to make them thicker and block out the light and weather more," he assures her. "She mostly mentioned the zombie thing, actually, but I can work with it. I can also change out the bulbs in the lights, if you want."

He starts digging into his filing cabinet for a lease form. "We have internet available, yes," he says. "It's part of the rent, which is $100 a month."

Georgia shrugged. "I'll be fine -- I have to be out during the day for fieldwork, anyway. Doesn't mean I have to like it. If it gets really bad, I'll switch to my contacts."

"I don't like them much," Georgia said. "And I can't wear them into dangerous situations, given that they're not as good as actually having working irises in my eyes. Unfortunately, they also work a lot better than my glasses for not getting headaches from too much light."
