Justin had never really thought too much about what it meant that he still owned his apartment. He supposed it could have meant nothing at all, just another place to store his vast collection of possessions, or perhaps it was kept it, so this whole thing with Megan didn't feel so entirely huge right now. He hadn't really given it much thought. They were rushing through the steps and he supposed it was all a little like running over hot coals, you didn't notice that your feet were burning till you stopped. But, it was just an apartment right?
"Okay, good. Because this salad just isn't the same without them." He picked up knife and a chopping board, before he walked over and stood next to her. "You know, I couldn't agree more." The cheese reminded him of Sally, of how he use to be repulsed by her values and opinions, but Sally was right, your opinion could so easily change once you found something that tied in perfectly with it. Justin liked to think their friendship had somehow done that for him.
He picked up his glass of wine and finished it off. "More wine?"
