Katie was used to Alicia's whims, she had been for years. Thankfully she'd already showered and had a bite to eat before her best friend showed up and practically dragged her out of the apartment, so she didn't put up a fight. It was best to just go along with whatever silly ideas Alicia had.
Following the other girl into Honeydukes, Katie laughed quietly to herself. Something about the place turned Alicia into a kid again - sure, Katie herself loved candy as much as (if not more than) any other Gryffindor, but Alicia was of another kind entirely. She listened as the other girl reasoned with herself, simply following her around the store. She turned to a display of ice mice and picked a package up while she listened to Alicia say something about a dozen cauldron cakes. "Really, Al?" She looked up over the shelf to where her best friend stood. "A dozen?"
