Narcissa hid a grin at Lucius's reaction. She knew he wondered why their son had started keeping an aviary, instead of doing something more active or political, but she couldn't blame Draco for wanting a peaceful hobby. Merlin knew she needed one herself.
"You could always send her an owl; I believe she likes horseback riding, like you do. I'm sure she would appreciate a chance to get to know her future father-in-law."
Her brow furrowing at Lucius's nervous behavior, Narcissa reached across the table and patted her husband's hand. "If you don't remember, Lucius, she stood up against the whole of Hogwarts and tried to offer over Potter. It may not have been the smartest move," she shrugged slightly, "but Pansy has never wavered in her beliefs. I think she will fit in just fine, but I do plan to spend some time with the girl soon."
Personally, Narcissa was pleased that Draco had decided to wed. She wouldn't mind a grandchild in a few years. It would be nice to have a little one in the manor.
