Hannah's face glowed with a genuine, thrilled smile. "Yeah? It's for you, because--not just because I wanted to make you happy when it's been so hard lately, but--" she said happily, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I just...I mean, you have made me feel so special, but you and me have been special for years, and we'll have years." Hannah teared--because she was so darn happy, but also because staring at him made her want to wipe away every hurt and fill him up with good, the way he did to her, the way he did when she was sure she'd always be empty somehow. And also because Hannah was a crier.
