"You're hurt," Hannah said simply, putting the basket down with a large breath of relief. She came up to the bed and took Luna's hands, feeling an urge to cry rush up her throat. "I don't want to hug you and hurt you, so my hands will just hug your hands," she said, giving Luna's a gentle but long squeeze.
When she drew them back, she turned towards the chair where she had set the basket. "Uh huh! It's stuff to keep you busy while you're here," she explained, tucking her hair back. "Some travel books, because I know that you like different places, and candy and crisps and loads of sweets that I made so I hope they taste good," she said, pointing at various places in the basket as she went along. "And games? Board games so that you can play and you can charm them so that the other pieces move without anyone around, my brother figured out how to do that with Muggle board games, aaaand...oh! Some cards if you want to play Solitaire and...I can't remember," she said, peering around the tissue paper to try to see what else was in there.
