What: They need to talk.
Where: Her flat, Diagon Alley
When: Saturday Morning.
Rating: TBD
Sometimes when she closed her eyes, Penny would get flashbacks to the battle at the Ministry and the moment her calm had shattered upon seeing Oliver's unconscious body being taken to St. Mungo's for examination.
Hours had passed and she stood to rub her chilled arms as she contemplated the floo once more. Oliver should - would, she corrected herself - be flooing in directly from St Mungos soon after being given the all clear. All it had taken to persuade him to be released to her care was the use of her Head Girl voice and a calm logical argument: Oliver couldn't be left alone at the moment and her flat had a spare bedroom.
Her house was immaculate as she'd spent most of the night cleaning it, putting fresh sheets in the Guest room and finally at four a.m weeding the pots that spilled out into the bit of garden she called hers. Anything to keep her mind alert and her eyes open; now, after the event, Penny was chicken and didn't want to reminisce about what had happened or even examine her own emotions. There was too much to lose by breaking.
A flash of sparks in the floo had her moving from the kettle towards the living room and the Scot who stepped out into her hearth.
