Who: Megan Jones and Justin Finch-Fletchley (appearence by Sally) Where: Megan's, then Justin's When: Sunday evening What: Megan freaks out following Hannah's information Rating: PG-13; for Megan freaking out; heavy snogging
Megan Jones was panicking. She'd read Hannah's note, asking her about Justin's state when she hadn't even had the slightest clue that anything had happened. It didn't make sense. Justin had said he was working late, which was the only reason she'd actually agreed to go out with his mother for a few hours. Oh it had been fun, she liked spending time with Elizabeth, but she certainly hadn't expected to find out he'd run off to some sort of a battle. Irritated and upset that Justin hadn't even bothered telling her that he was going to run off like some idiot trying to battle people who downright hated him for just breathing, Megan had quickly closed her journal and gotten a taxi home. She would have disapparated, but hadn't really remembered he could do that and considering the distance, was still a little cautious.
That had to be the most stressful taxi ride in her entire life. She'd spent the thirty-odd minutes sitting at the edge of her seat, mentally willing the cab driver to ignore all lights and traffic. All sorts of possibilities popped through her mind, most of them revolving around the possibility that Justin didn't trust her. Then, she started to consider the possibility that maybe he was injured. Or worse, completely okay and sitting at home laughing his head off at her. No, it didn't make sense, but nothing was making much sense to her at the moment. Finally, she arrived, paid the driver and ran up the front steps and into her building. Justin had better be there.
When she arrived home to a very empty flat, Megan truly started to panic. Running through her flat, Megan made sure to check every last room before grabbing her wand to disapparate on the spot. She didn't care any more if anyone in Justin's building saw her. She needed to know where he was . Right now. Second later she was standing in the hallways in front of Justin's front door.
"JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY!" Megan cried pounding loudly on the door. She ignored the etched words on the door, knowing full well that they represented every thing that was wrong with this place; the fact that he could very well not be standing behind that door. "I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT THIS SECOND!" Megan had no idea what she would do to him if he didn't answer but she was far too upset and worried to come up with a good threat.
