Who: Dean Thomas and Morag MacDougal (and NPC of the Thomas Siblings) Where: Thomas home When: Monday Evening What: Morag helps placing up wards and protection spells around Dean's home. Rating: Low.
Feeling very anxious of the day as a whole, Dean had woken up at quite an early time. He had gotten used to sleeping until the afternoon, but with the pending arrival of Morag, doing so was the farthest thing from his mind. It wouldn't be for a good handful of hours until she was released from her job at TerrorTours, but that wasn't enough to keep him from waiting patiently. There was just something about the girl that his thoughts wrapped around every single day. It also had been a while since he felt that as well. He couldn’t deny that he had flirted and been charming towards other members of the opposite sex, until recently. Until the thought of how he felt exactly for Morag entered his mind. Of course, there still was a likelihood that she merely thought of them as friends, but Dean was willing to take the chance. If she wanted to, he didn't mind keeping things with them at a slow pace too.
Dean had told his parents that a friend was due to arrive in the early evening to help him with a few things. Now, he knew that his folks had been a smart bunch, especially since they had already questioned about the recent muggle deaths in the news being something from the wizarding world, so he found himself unable to keep such a secret from them. There were a couple of issues that he held back from them, but the general story was something that he also felt that they should have knowledge of as a whole. It made no sense of keeping from them that there was a chance that everyone was in danger and one of the main reasons that Morag had agreed to help him cast the protection spells. He knew the main ones, but to cast them perfect without feeling any doubt? That was something that he was unsure, knowing that he needed a bit of help. It was better to perform with two people rather than one, especially with the fact that she had been practically a genius with all those kind of things.
Of course, his siblings had taken the news of Morag slightly differently. They were all too young to truly comprehend the danger that had a chance of knocking at their front door step. Kissy faces and remarks of the former Ravenclaw being his secret lover had been the hot topic in the Thomas household for hours. Dean had done his best to keep them at bay, reminding them every so often that she was just a friend. That rarely helped the situation, especially since it was no where near enough to cease all of that. Shaking his head with a smile, one could only hope that such antics had been driven out of their system before Morag showed up. Hopefully, there wasn’t a plan to embarrass him either.
"Yeah, go outside and wait for your girlfriend, stud," a giggle had erupted from Dorothy, the oldest girl of all the siblings, as Dean had started putting on his jacket and do what she had suggested a couple of seconds before the thought of speaking such words entered her mind. Enough was enough sometimes with them all. It didn't help that his parents had been amused by them too.
Pushing the door open and closing it behind him, Dean stuffed his hands into his jacket. He figured that Morag would be popping in at any moment and it was the best to be there to give her a sort of calm that she had found his home easily. The directions that he had given her were to the best of his abilities, so he had no thoughts of her somehow becoming lost with them. It was the part that she was traveling alone during such times that bothered him.
