As Andromeda waited for the barman to make the coffee, she helped Teddy out of his coat and set him up in a high chair, all the while humming a tune she had learned from her own mother. A tune that was cut short in surprise as the door opened suddenly. Andromeda stood up and peered over her shoulder at the newcomer, but spared the blonde boy only a glance as Teddy chose that moment to snatch her wand from her hand.
She sighed and turned back to take the wand back before the little one could do anything with it. Tucking the wand into her pocket, Andromeda sat at the table and picked up a discarded copy of yesterday's Prophet. She scanned the front page and tossed it aside. No interesting news.
Her gaze returned to the other patron of the pub and her eyes went wide. She had never met Draco in person before, but the occasional photograph had crossed her path, and he looked so like his parents. She glanced toward the back door, contemplating slipping out, purely out of respect for the Malfoy family's dislike of her own, but then the coffee arrived.
