As soon as he had receive the message from Parvati for the sleepover, Dean quickly decided to get ready to leave. Knowing that if he had only brought himself, it would be very much appreciated, even though she stated that she wanted him to bring pajamas for the over night stay at Lavender's flat. To be honest, he rarely ever wore sleep wear going to bed. Of course, he tossed on some sweat pants, shirt, or simply boxers in the boy's dorm room back within Hogwarts, but that was different. They were all men sharing that room. Figuring that the jeans and plain shirt that he had already been wearing was perfect enough for the evening, he headed down the stairs. It seemed that his mum had been on the edge because of something, but failed to let in any of her children know the cause of such a feeling. A reason why he had held off on having an important conversation with her.
After a bit of persuading on his part, Dean's stepfather had allowed him to spend the night with his friends. That was one of the reasons that he had wanted a place of his own. Staying at home truly did mean directing his parents on any location that was on his mind to travel towards. Sometimes, it was a bit frustrating, especially being of age and all, but it was what he had to live with for the time being. It would be easier if he had his best friend living in a flat with him, but that was ruined for the mere fact that Dean would never ask Seamus to move out of Lavender's place just to live with him. That would be the only time that he'd choose his girl over him. Nor would he ever admit that he was a tad jealous over that as well.
Apparating from a safe location, he ran up the stair well to the proper floor location that Lavender occupied. The door had already seemed to be open and waiting for his arrival, but he guessed that he had good timing, even without the lack of Floo transportation in his muggle home. Dean placed his hands on the boarder of the door and smiled brightly as he saw the three of his friends greeting each other. "If Dean decides to join? Now, don't think that you can start the party without me," he answered in a positive tone that he hadn't used in quite a while. It had been far too long since they all had been in the same room, but now that Parvati was back from India, everything would be okay. Already it felt like old times.
