He nodded at her statement about happily ever after, and found himself frowning at the prospect. If life was a Fairy Tale, then Harry's defeat of Voldemort should've meant it was all happiness and enjoyment from here on out, but obviously that wasn't the case. Though he had to admit that right now he was pretty content with life, enjoying the feeling of Hannah next to him, and their hands linked together.
It was her question that made him stir a moment, and immediately he began racking his brain for a good answer, but really didn't have something profound--wasn't his department anyway. Instead he just went by his gut, "Well I suppose it starts with the fact life isn't a fairy tale. Then I think, well, we haven't gotten too unhappily ever after. I mean, we're alive and kicking. We've got great friends," said with a nudge to her body, "And we're watching an excellent movie."
He smiled before looking down at her a moment, "But if you mean in terms of romance, and the happy perfect life, then well maybe it's just because we haven't found that perfect someone yet. You almost did in Anton I suppose, but obviously he didn't make you happy enough--which would make living 'happily ever after' a bit more difficult than usual. That doesn't mean you won't get happily ever after... I'd be hard pressed to find a girl more deserving of it than you."
