WHO: Daphne Greengrass & Blaise Zabini.
WHAT: Trying to figure out what to do with the cat problem.
WHERE: The Greengrass Estate.
WHEN: Saturday afternoon.
RATING: Fairly high just because of violence towards an animal.
A loud crash echoed through the quiet hallways of The Greengrass Estate, followed by a shriek. "That's it!" Daphne's voice rang out through the house as a large cat came bounding out of a second floor room. A large piece of china went flying after it, just to graze the top of it's ears and shatter against the opposite wall. Throwing the doors open to the room, Daphne stood in the entrance way, practically seething with anger. With wand in hand, heel expertly sprinted after the beast. "I want this foul creature OUT OF MY HOUSE!!" She screamed at no one in particular, as she flicked a binding hex towards the cat just to watch it dodge the spell by jumping on to a rare piece of artwork. Daphne skidded to a halt and watched in horror as the cat took a leap from the top of the sculpture's head and landed on the carpet. Racing towards the statue, Daphne steadied it on its pedestal before turning her attention back to the cat who was now grooming itself near the top of the stairs.
"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty." Making annoying little kissing sounds, Daphne flicked her wand to make a piece of string form at the tip of her wand. Swishing the wand from side to side, the motion captured the cat's attention. Inching her way towards the animal, the cat watched the tip of Daphne's wand, captivated by the movement. The moment she found herself in reach, a hand snatched the cat up by the scruff of it's neck. "A-ha! You wretched beast. You are LEAVING this home, I don't care what mother says, I won't tolerate vermin in this home." She hissed at the cat. In turn the cat hissed back, and slashed it's claws across her cheek, leaving one nasty scratch on her face.
Recoiling from the shock and pain, Daphne practically threw the cat down the stairs. Of course, it landed on it's feet, what cat wouldn't land on it's feet? Growling in anger, Daphne looked at her reflection in one of the mirrors just to see a tiny sliver of red forming and the first drop of blood seeping from the tiny scratch. "You disgusting, vile.... THING!" Throwing a stinging hex at the cat, it hit the cat's tail and sent it howling down the stairs. "Didn't like that, did you?!" A satisfied smirk curled on her lips, as she took the stairs two at the time to catch up with the cat which was nearing the bottom of the expansive staircase. At the cat landed at the bottom of the stairs, it bolted towards the kitchens.
"NO! You filthy thing!" The cat attempted to push the door open, just to find resistance. "Hah!" The house elves must have known better than to keep the door unlocked to allow cats in. With the animal corner, Daphne flicked her wand once more, and the cat found itself suspended in the air by it's tail. It instantly went into a fit of howls and shrieks, attempting to fight the invisible grip that was around it's tail, holding it up in the air.
A satisfied smile curled on Daphne's lips as she guided the cat out of the kitchen corridor and back towards the front hall. The tiny scratch across her cheek wasn't bleeding profusely, and she knew it wasn't going to scar - at least, she hoped it wasn't going to scar. She didn't have time to deal with the scratch, though, considering she had a hovering cat at the end of her wand. Her free hand brushed down her skirt, which managed to ride up over her knees during the race to capture the cat.
Now if only Blaise was show up soon to help her dispose of the creature.
