As Daphne had taken a step backwards to widen the gap between them, Blaise couldn't help but become disappointed in her actions. It almost felt insulting that the animal had been placed between their bodies for good measure like he had been a stranger with nothing more on his mind but to fondle her private areas. Of course, he wouldn't even attempt to perform such actions. He had more respect for the opposite gender than others had given him credit for. However, in a matter of a couple of seconds, he deemed the situation as a unexpected surprise. The simple action had caught her off guard and it was only instinct to back away, even though small kisses upon the woman's cheek had not been foreign at all, following through from time to time. It was a moment of torment that Blaise had no control over himself, which began the moment of action that lasted for no more than a handful of seconds.
"I'm quite certain that your house elves would be more than willing to fetch a sac and there are quite possibly rocks adorning your backyard, if I'm not mistaken," he replied calmly hinting that he had already forgotten the event that occurred moments ago. Never one to ever admit being denied, even if it was obviously playing out before him.
As the time ticked by and the animal laying upon the floor, Blaise glanced at it slightly and raised an eyebrow. It was pathetic, yet he was willing to help Daphne in her hour of need like he had accomplished numerous times before. If memory served him correctly, there still hadn't been a moment in the past where he had followed through with a simple no towards her either. Of course, that moment wasn't about to be the start of a new trend. As useless as the feline appeared, there was little doubt that it wouldn't become his property at the end of their time together on that day. "Death Eaters have better things to do then punish a cat, unless they were extremely bored," he answered honestly before glancing up at the attractive Greengrass.
It wasn't the correct time to admit that he had wanted to join their ranks, unsure how Daphne would respond to that as a whole either. He would go as far to predict her disapproval at that particular matter. However, Blaise was almost certain that even the perfect woman wouldn't be able to convince him otherwise. "There is no need for an apology. I'm already enjoying my time within your home thoroughly," answering her in a matter of seconds truthfully. "I'm fairing quite well, my love. How about yourself?" he asked with a tilt of his head.
"May I be so bold to state that your appearance is far more than radiant," he added to his sentence a moment after, unable to hold the words within him any longer.
