Truth be told, Blaise had the slightest desire of owning a cat. If it was any other person approaching him, then the automatic answer would have been a no. However, Daphne was no ordinary person to him. She had meant more to him then he was willing to let himself believe. There were feelings, yes. That was something to at least begin with, but he had never revealed anything of the nature towards her openly. Even with the unexpected closeness of the eldest female Greengrass to Theodore, it wasn't enough to stop him from pursuing anything further with her. After all, she belonged to him. Not in a sense that she was his property. No, not anything of the sort. Daphne was his girl. Wasn't it obvious conclusion by the simple fact that he bought her random gifts for no apparent reason and insisted on referring to her with pet names? In short, nothing was final until he came to that exact conclusion. Such feelings and thoughts were what drove him to accept the feline as his own, knowing fully well how Daphne had gotten along with creatures throughout the years, which tended to be a zero tolerance sort of level.
With the extra added incentive firmly in his mind, Blaise had no intentions of being late. If there was one woman that he had to be exactly on time for, it would be Daphne without a doubt. Of course, he tended to arrive at appointed scheduled time with ease. It showed that he was reliable, even at the moments that didn't seem rather important. Also, he tended to receive exactly what he wanted with such an action.
Blaise was unsure how his own mum would take to having a feline around the home. Neither of them were allergic, so it that that transition somewhat easier. It was something from Daphne. That fact alone was worth quite a bit, so he wanted to make sure that the cat was well taken care of. Of course, he believed that the cat was well behaved. It was merely the fact that the Greengrass sibling had no desire of the beast roaming around the estate. For all he knew, his mum could have the same reaction as Daphne with the new animal. Hopefully that wasn't the case, even if Daphne was most likely tormenting it Blaise continued to dress himself before venturing over. Always trim and tidy, he settled on a light black tailor made suit for the occasion.
With a simple glance towards the actual time, Blaise noticed that he was earlier than he had thought. Allowing his shoulder a slight shrug, he figured that Daphne wouldn't mind. The sooner that he made an appearance to rid her of the cat was more than appreciated, right? At least, he thought that was exactly what she had hoped would occur. Making sure he was presentable once more, Blaise apparated with a loud pop from a safe location to directly on a proper landmark on the Greengrass Estate. Although they had known each other for years, he had made sure that he took the proper approach in entering one's home. It showed that he had manners as well, unlike a good handful of people. A simple knock at the door sufficed, before the door slowly opened wide to reveal a house elf on the other side. There were something about such creatures that bothered Blaise, however, he never made such an outward notion to that. After all, his own mansion contained quite a few, especially since his mum needed them to function on a daily basis and forgetting on how to accomplish the easiest tasks on her own.
As he entered the Greengrass home, Blaise returned a nod to the house elf before venturing forward within. It didn't take him too much longer to hear a tussle somewhere near him, which caused him to turn his head in that direction ever so slightly. "Announce my presence to Daphne, if you would," he spoke to the house elf. It gave out a little squeak and shut the door, before doing as it was told.
