If there was one thing that Amycus failed to control it was being far too impatient. Pacing about in the home that was well hidden from everyone to the naked eye, the last thing that the Carrows desired was being caught with their pants down. Of course, the idea to move was firmly in their mind when they thought it was necessary. They hadn't lacked intelligence in the slightest. He knew that others thought that way about them, even those that they had been hitched closely to due to their beliefs. If Amycus had his way, right now, Alecto and himself would be on top of the food chain and not those pathetic Lestranges. However, it was better to bide the time then jumping in at the worst possible situation.
The moment that the sun had fallen and night began to take over, Amycus had set out to the streets in search for a new pet. Unlike his sister, he couldn't venture out in the morning as much as he would like, which most likely would cause himself to be recognized almost immediately. Of course, he had a brilliant gift from Alecto, but it deserved a playmate as well. Hopefully, the next one that he snatched up would make more of a conscious effort to not fade away before he was completely done.
A familiar tune had caught his ear, which made the former Slytherin stop in his tracks and tend to the darkness. Quiet footsteps followed as his eyes fell upon a woman pushing a pram for a few moments, before allowing the woman to notice tha someone had decided on continuously in her exact direction. Figuring that there was no reason for him to hide his appearance any longer, Amycus thought it was best to hum the rest of the tune to her and allow a sinister grin spread across his features. Unlucky for her, she had turned in the same direction as the Death Eater.
