Who: Seamus Finnigan and Megan Jones What: A hospital date 2.0. Where: St Mungo's When: Presumingly midday-ish. Rating: I'm expecting low. But who knows.
It’s always was a five when his parents were in the room. Bearable, but still there and consistent, an act really, because he couldn’t hurt them anymore than they were already hurting themselves over it. It became an 8 when his nurse was in the room, it was okay to break down a little more in order to get the right level of healing charms to ease the pain slightly, but still he was holding back - because Seamus had always been stupidly stubborn. But after everyone had left, and Seamus was once again alone it soared to ten and he broke down completely. Hands scrambled to hold onto his sheets, as his screams were swallowed up by his pillow. The mediwizard’s said the pain would disappear over time, that it was just his subconscious that was damage, just his subconscious that still thought he was in that room with Amycus. The pain left Seamus physically and mentally drained, he slept most of the day and the rest he had to spend getting pushed around in a damn wheelchair, because they wouldn’t let him walk. Hospital policy or something. Seamus had eventually given in to arguing against it, he was still relieved his brain hadn’t turned to mush, to care too much about being in a wheelchair for two days (even if it did still totally suck). Besides it was Lavender who had to do most of the pushing anyway. When Lavender was in the room it was 1, possibly 2, nothing more. And they were the rules.
Seamus opened his eyes, pulling himself up slightly to see if Lavender was around yet or Dean had come to visit; with stolen pudding cups for breakfast, he had been disappointed to see neither, not even his parents were there yet. He sighed, and fell back against his pillows, he had obviously woke up earlier than he had yesterday. Probably a good sign of improvement - not that he was mediwizard or anything - but it was something he would tell Lavender anyway, something to get her off his back a little more. He turned to the door when he heard a knock and noticed his charge nurse standing in the doorway with a smile. If she had been a little younger, Seamus might have sent her wink. But apparently, someone was here to visit him that was neither herself, his parents, Lavender or Dean and she wanted to know if he wanted to see her? Seamus sat up and nodded, if word had got out about him being tortured, he was definitely going to be accepting any sympathy/pity - especially in forms of sexual favors. Seamus smiled, happy to see said person was Meg, “Hey,” He moved to the far side of the bad and patted against the now empty side of the bed, “Sit down, or grab a chair, doesn’t bother me. Sorry our date had to end in that whole ‘Deatheaters rising to power’ thing-o. I promise once I’m all back together, I’ll take you out to dinner.” It was good to see Meg, made the pain an almost 5. But a real 5 at that.
