Who: Alicia Spinnet and George Weasley
When: Very late Sunday Evening/Early Monday Morning
Where: The Burrow
What: Given the break-out, and the eerie conversation with a certain Rabastan Lestrange, Alicia sees it fit to go and check on her parents. Especially her mother. Given that her travels take her past the home of her favorite wizarding family - The Weasleys - Alicia opts to stop in and see how one George Weasley is doing. Hopefully the loud popping sound won't wake the entire household.
Rating: Low (Unless either decides to have choice words about dark wizards lurking about!)
The Prophet had been delivered and the owls had come soon after. Alicia wasn't at all surprised that her parents were worried. Their daughter lived alone, in a small village that they were certain none of her friends lived any where close to. It was true. As far as Alicia knew, most of her friends lived in, or around, the wizarding London area. She didn't blame them. It was busy, bustling, and there was always something to do, or a charity to help with in an attempt to continue rebuilding that which was lost in the war. She would be living in London if she wasn't playing Quidditch. There was really no reason why she couldn't now except for the fact that the networks were always jammed tight when traveling along and up the country for games. She could only apparate so much before feeling nauseous, but she didn't have a choice right then and there. It was the fastest form of travel and required few stops. One between Stamford and the Burrow, and then another between the Burrow and Brighton. The Floo network took twice as many, and Port Keys weren't an option.
It was her least preferred form of travel. Giving her broom a sad look, Alicia took in a deep breath and with a loud pop, she was gone. Her cat, Comet, only opened an eye for a second before drifting back off to sleep. He knew she would come back. She always did.
The first stop went well. It was enough for Alicia to gather her bearings, let the dizzy feeling subside, and she was gone with another loud pop. Perhaps she should have told George she was coming. No, she definitely should have warned him that she was going to be arriving withing the next few seconds. She didn't need to go about waking up the entire house. You couldn't plan your landing when you apparated, but Alicia did her best. Skidding to a halt in the midst of a half-spin, Alicia collided with the outside of Bill's bedroom door. The dizzy feeling took over and she stumbled backwards and landed on the creaking wooden floor of the hallway within the Weasley's humble abode.
Yes. Alicia should have definitely given George, or one of the Weasley's, some sort of warning that they may be getting a visitor at this hour.
