"Yes, it's going to be a challenge. But we should really try to see the bright side. Consider this an adventure into adulthood. Having your own place is a really big deal." Kevin meant every word of what he said. "No one to tell you how to decorate it. Buying only foods you want to eat to keep in the kitchen. No one asking you where you've been or when are you coming home. And..." A smirk crossed Kevin's face. "At no point do you have to walk in on any potentially mentally scarring scenarios."
Kevin joked, but he didn't really mind living with his sister. It was certainly better than living with his parents or a total stranger. Thinking about the house he grew up in reminded him of the nightmare he had the other night. The night before the strange darkness showed up.
"Hey. So what do you think about this weird 24/7 night time thing? I'm assuming it's still darkness where you live?"
