Parvati sat perched on the edge of the couch, her hands under her legs. She felt like she couldn't get involved, but she could hardly contain herself. As much as it frustrated her that George seemed unwilling or nervous to share their relationship status openly, it hurt her much more to know that she was the cause of the siblings fighting, and that he would suffer any strain on his relationship with his sister because of her. She stood up, and paced around the couch, trying to decide if she should stay or go.
She inched toward the hall, and saw George in the doorway, and her heart melted. She looked over at him and smiled, catching his eye as she did so. She walked towards him; she wasn't sure if it was the best choice, but she wanted Ginny to know they were more than a snog. Taking his hand, she stood by George, waiting for the onslaught, bracing herself this time.
