Maybe, really, this whole thing; the relationship thing, wasn’t meant for Justin? He’s trying, sure he is, but while there are things Justin’s picked up easily; because he’s smart or he’s talented, this just wasn’t one of them. He’s considered if it’s because of the lack of relationship his parents had in front of him growing up, that’s royally screwed with the mechanics of his relationship with Megan, that’s made things difficult for him to understand, to fix. Maybe it really just all fell down to the fact his parents used a bunch of nannies instead of themselves to tell him ‘that they loved him.’ Or maybe, Justin’s just got to come to the conclusion there is something out there, other than flying, that he wasn’t good at. Justin couldn’t sleep, there were too many maybes, too many variables on what this whole fight was really about, that sleeping right now just seemed like a waste of valuable time. Not that he had any confidence that he would fall asleep, still lying in the clothes he had been wearing earlier. He was already out of his bed, before his thought concluded and making his way out into the kitchen for a drink. He paused at the fridge; hand wrapped tightly around the handle, before he finally decided he wasn’t even thirsty and closed it. He missed her, because it wasn’t like Justin didn’t love her. He did, but maybe he just loved her the only way he knew how? And maybe, that wasn’t enough for her.
Justin opened his door, tugging on a clean shirt, as he made his way to Sally’s -- he knew it was late, that she probably wasn’t awake still, but he was going to at least give it a chance. He couldn’t sleep and if there was someone he could talk metaphorically to; even when it was so clearly about each other, it was her. He knocked and waited.
