Who: Walter and OPEN
Where: Not far from his room
What: Still in terror He's seeing things.
When: Tonight at 10
Walter stood there, motionless (unless an eye or muscle twitched to reassure him he was, unfortunately, still alive), staring down a blemish in the wall. But, this wasn't a normal, everyday blemish. Oh no. It had to leave when someone possibly sane walked by.
To make matters worse, they started finding his stash of Holy Candles and Saint Medallions, and were threatening to take one of the last Medallions off of him, not to mention that said Medallion was weakening. Walter knew it was going to break soon, if not for the slowly enlarging blemish, then for something else.
Walter had only one Holy Candle left, so he had to make it count. The door swung open, creaking eerily, slow, cautiously until it formed a perfect 90 degree angle from the doorway. "What are you trying to do? Burn the floor down!" "--kill us?" "Pyromaniac?" His head shook from side to side to clear their words. Inch by careful inch, his steps took him to the very front of the wall as he tried to remain oblivious to the pain rapidly fading in his head.
He set the candle down as closely to the 'blemish' as possible. He began to fumble around for something flamable, when the Saint Medallion finally broke. Shit! Walter's search became slightly more frantic until there was nothing around the floor that he could possibly light quick enough to get the candle lit. Walter sighed and promptly gave up, tossed the medallion down some end of the hall, and almost stuck the Holy Candle in his blue coat pocket when he heard the sound of footsteps in the hallway. He froze instantly, half-curious, half-afraid that whomever it was coming closer was going to take the candle away from him; leaving him without any sort of help for fighting off the oddities that were frequently making themselves known to him pretty rapidly.
