2/3 (longer than I thought) Talents/Weaponry/Abilities/etc: WEAPONS: Prickly Pear EZ (Rapier Ez), Burnt Line 93R (Bantorain 93R); they are two small pistols. TOOLS: 1. Tindercrest: Usually used to light up torches and melt ice/frozen things. Can also set people on fire. :D 2. Galecrest: Used to move quickly across the floor and to cross small gaps in the floor. It's one of the best ways to travel! 3. Changecrest: Used to switch shapes between orange blocks or orange gems; if you target a white gem with this tool, you will be immediately warped to its location; can also be used to change the shapes of animals, but I don't personally use it because it makes me feel bad even though it's animated. Sad, I know. FORCE POWERS: 1. Mystic: Extends the effects of an item to an entire party, such as a single heal berry healing the entire party instead of a single party member. 2. Gatling: A special technique that may turn the tide of battle. The character will perform a string of consecutive attacks. 3. Summon: Summons the Guardian that lies within one of the Mediums equipped to the character to perform an Elemental (non-elemental at times) strike on the enemy.
Virginia isn't much of a heavy-hitter. She's more suited to being your party's healer and mage. Background: Virginia grew up in the small and isolated farming town on the most Southern continent of Filgaia called Boot Hill. The closest thing nearby is a train station and that's... well. Ridiculously far away. So you can imagine that she didn't have much to do outside of town, especially because it's teeming with monsters. Her father "disappeared" when she was eight years old. Her memory of the situation is pretty fuzzy due to her age at the time, though. All she can remember is him walking away. She doesn't know (until later in the game, of course) if he is dead or alive.
Her father is the one who taught her how to use her ARMS (the twin pistols she uses in combat) at a very young age. I believe it was stated that she was six at the time she began learning, but I could be mistaken. Her father is the one who gave her her ARMS. Her mother passed away shortly after her father's leave and she went to live with her aunt and uncle after that.
Virginia had always wanted to leave Boot Hill, but due to her aunt and uncle's worries about her being hurt or dying in the process of becoming a Migrant Bird (translated to Drifter in the US version, since they use "Drifter" in every other WA game instead of that for some reason). At the age of eighteen, Virginia finally decides to set out into the world and become a Drifter. However, it isn't until she proves herself by saving the town from Gobs (think goblins) that were terrorising the town, stealing food and precious items when no one else would dare stand up to them that her aunt and uncle allow her to leave and spread her wings.
A Drifter is a mercenary who quite literally "drifts" from town-to-town, doing odd jobs and protecting others for money. A Drifter's main goal in life is just to see the world and live how they want, regardless of how bad the condition of the world is. The world of all Wild ARMS games, Filgaia, is decaying due to a war with demons over 1,000 years before the start of the first game. The Guardians ("gods") of Filgaia gave their bodies to save the planet the best they could and now only exist in medium ("spirit," if you will) form. They can be used for summoning ala Final Fantasy games. However, the world's condition is the worst in WA3. In 3, the world is literally a wasteland, instead of an ocean of water, it's thick sand. Very little vegetation grows on Filgaia.
