So...

Loathe as I am to admit this, I'm thinking there's a very distinct possibility that we might be pretty dead in the water, and I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. Yes, the big winter holidays just passed and a lot of people might be freed up now, but...

I have to confess I'm not nearly as enthused about modding here as I was in the beginning. I have another game going that's taking a lot more time and energy than I can commit to making both this place and the other thrive simultaneously. So, rather than shut this place down completely or keep half-assing things, especially if people are still interested in playing out the ideas we came up with a couple of weeks ago, I'd like to abdicate my position as moderator to anyone who might be more inclined to take it up and give this place the full attention and love it deserves.

Any takers? I can PM the password to someone who is interested and dedicated. I wouldn't mind keeping on as a player with Soheila, but I just don't think I have the time, energy, or brainpower that it takes to maintain the information in this journal and/or run this game's plot. Of course, I'd be happy to keep churning out graphics and helping with things like directory upkeep or application review if the assistance needed, but if there's someone who would like to take over steering this place in the right direction, it would be great to put it in your hands.

Thanks for your patience, enthusiasm and understanding through all of this! If this really is the end, I really do appreciate being able to play and write with such a talented and brilliant group of people, and I apologize for not being able to keep it going as long as I would've liked. I hope I get the opportunity to run into you again somewhere in the world wide internetz. If this isn't the end...well, let me know ASAP! :]

I was afraid something like this might happen. If there are no other volunteers, I'd be happy to take over... assuming there still is a game to take over. I'll try getting a hold of the other players to check.

Thanks for letting us know. Many a mod would've just disappeared.

Argh, I know I haven't been much help lately in terms of getting the game going, so I've no right to complain... But I quite agree that we are eternally grateful to you for making the game possible to begin with and not simply vanishing away!

That being said, how I desperately wish I could do my bit to keep the place running! At this point, I cannot honestly say one way or the other as my course load in the coming months are rather heavy, but I may be able to co-mod if no one else comes forth, all things depending. I wouldn't want to commit myself until maybe around mid-January to gauge my ability to manage time, which I know is really late, but if (a big if, I hope!) the game is still in need of a moderator or a co-moderator at such a time, I might be able to lend a hand. And even if things don't quite work out that way, you can count on Strauss sticking around the 'Verse, so long as the game is willing to have him. :3

I, too, feel horrible admitting this because this game has so much potential!!!! I recently started modding a game and I realized that it's been taking up LOADS of my time. That said, I want to keep Calum involved if there's still a game to be involved in- like the concept, I just need to where/how to place him! :)

I wouldn't be able to take on as a full moderator or anything like that, but I also don't mind helping keep up with a directory or application review, pimping the game out, etc.

I'm definitely still interested in playing here. I just got back to my apartment and now I finally have internet access, so I'm good to go. Just let me know what's going down and I'm more than happy to continue playing here and helping out in any way I can!
