we can has shiny plot
Things are (hopefully, potentially, maybe) going to go down in the 'verse. A bunch of us chatted this morning to try and untangle the tangled web of threads we've got going at the moment. Here's what we've got:

- Regarding Newhall and the Sheera/Dalia/Ollie/Sohei/Zeke thread, the most sensible thing would be to have them come to fists at this point. Sohei/Zeke could start us off (with Sohei-mun's accord, of course) and everyone else could follow like dominoes.

- Regarding Verbena and the ball, the Nekhbet is headed there on a job to retrieve a group of five whores stolen from a powerful man on Newhall. Since the original thieves were supported - if not part of - the Tongs, the mob mothership could have gotten wind of the deal with the Nekhbet and sought to counter it with a deal of their own. After the brawl between the two smuggler crews, it would make sense to hire Ollie to stop them. Essentially, it would be a war fought by proxy.

To make things even more interesting, the Alliance and the two smuggler crews could potentially meet at the ball introduced in Soren's thread.
