Continuing to glower under his brow at Jack's evasive eyes as he set them up in a standard dance form, he replied, "Turnabout's only fair play."
Then he shoved Jack away, pulled him in, and set them on course for a grueling jive. Yes, that was an oxymoron, and no, he did not care. The dance fit his partner and the pace fit his mood.
Twist-pull, twist-shove, kickkick TWIRL, and he pulled Jack in flush, though the dance practically forbade it.
"So." He muttered into the other man's hair, forcing himself to keep it a little impersonal by dropping eye contact.
