So far each of two challenges going on have six entries. I know it's been and continues to be a very busy time of the year for many people (*raises hand*) but more icons would be wonderful! Four days left in the challenge, so plenty of time to enter. :)

And now for something a little different.
It's nearly Thanksgiving in the US and for many Americans, myself included, there's a crazy holiday weekend coming up. So I decided to make this an extended challenge, running for two weeks instead of our usual one. To make up for that, this is also a double challenge; there will be a theme challenge and a regular challenge both running for two weeks.
The end date for both challenges is 9am (EST) Saturday December 6th, 2008.
You can submit up to two icons for each challenge (up to four icons in total) in a comment to this post. All comments are, of course, screened.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and as always, the basic icontest guidelines are here.
First Challenge: The first challenge is a theme challenge. And your theme is... The TARDIS. And while we all know that it's bigger on the inside, your icon has to show it from the outside. It can include the Doctor or his companions, but the focus of the icon must be the TARDIS.
You can use any screencap or promotional still that you want to, but I've uploaded a few that you can use if you want to: One // Two // Three // Four // Five
Second Challenge: The second challenge is a screencap challenge featuring the episode "Bad Wolf."
For this challenge, you may use only the screencaps provided below; blending is allowed.
Happy iconing!

Before I post the results, I just wanted to say, I was so impressed by the icons you guys submitted for this challenge. Despite the fact that "The Girl in the Fireplace" isn't one of my own favorite episodes, these were some of my favorite entries that I've seen so far on this comm. :)
( Okay, now on to the winners! )
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge!
