=======================
Connor Reilly had heard that the immortal man named Methos had recently opened up a dojo. Now there was someone to train under. Surely one who lived for 5000 years knew a lot, especially swords. Or.. well, he understood that Thorn had sometimes been referred to as War in human form. He probably knew lots of different ways to kickass and decimate enemies as well. And of course Connor himself knew some things. He had a memory of another life, of when he had spent his whole childhood and teen life in a hell dimension, each day a fight til death, a struggle for survival. He'd picked up lots of tricks and ways to kill monsters, and people too, and tracking, a superb hunter. He usually hunted demons and vampires back in Los Angeles.
And now he had a different life. The vampires here weren't a threat, could actually be nice people, very unlike the ones he faced back home. As to demons? The family of the Antichrist, and the man himself, it wasn't such a bad thing to know them. Of course he did know a couple of them biblically, such as the late Lucien and sometimes Enigma, plus Damien at times. And of course there was that orgy the British blond dancer had hosted, ohhh there were so many partners he enjoyed that day. And now he felt the need to keep himself in shape. Anything dangerous could still show up in this strange new world, it was best to be prepared for it just in case.
So he made his way to the dojo, where Methos was going over papers in the office to see about potential trainers. Maxxie was even practicing on the mat against another bag, topless and sweating, and seemingly in his own world. Connor let him be and continued to practice alone, practiced with a few weapons, such as swords, knives, and staff. Then he had put those away and did a few combat fighting routines against imaginary baddies. Now he was attacking the bag, sweating slightly so he had unbuttoned his shirt a bit to be more loose. He attacked it furiously, kicks, punches, leap attacks, knees, elbows, using his own martial system of chaos and life ending tactics. He was doing so for the past twenty minutes alone, though he was aware other visitors may drop in after a while. Still, he kept his focus on working out, keeping himself at top peak during the exercise routines.
