Notes: I don't know a thing about Alias, except what Sistersleep and a few others have told me, but I love the character of Sark.  It's almost enough to get me into a new fandom, but I'm holding out, for the moment.  This AU is pure sex - hot, steamy and dangerous.  A perfect combination.  I love Keller, so real, so deadly, so in character, and I've been told that Sistersleep has captured Sark just as well.  I'm not surprised.  She's good like that.  So if you like your sex just shy of lethal, this is a good combination for you.  There are only the two right now, and she's said that there won't be more, but I keep my fingers crossed, 'cause I'd love to see another one, and besides, she has been known to give in to peer pressure...let her know if you like these, you never know.

Notes: I'm not really sure why I haven't rec'd Sistersleep before - I didn't realize I hadn't until just now.  So I'll take care of that.   This is another one of the Kink and Cliche fic from last year.  Her prompt were: something with leather and voyeurism, and she covered them rather well I think.  And a few others as well.  This takes place during The Tip, when Adebisi is suffering from withdrawl and is restrained in his hospital bed.   When Alvarez slips him a pill to ease the pain, his drug-induced dream is fascinating, chilling and totally hot all at the same time.

Notes: This is another of last year's Kink and Cliche fic, using the prompt: Exhibitionism.  Not a real stretch for Oz, as Mandy's Bitch points out.  But she doesn't use the most obvious choice of sex behind the plexiglass walls of a pod.  She takes it in a different direction, and the result is disturbing and hot all at once, much like Keller - I could so see him doing something like this.  It's cruel, and even slightly against Ronnie's will (thus the noncon warning.)   It also gives us a bit of Keller and Schillinger's background - also disturbing - and very in character for them, as well.  I like the fact that Keller does't take his abuse lying down (oops, sorry - unintentional pun there.)

Notes: I don't know why, but I've always loved the scene between Beecher and Mondo in A Word to the Wise.  I love the way Beecher stares at Keller through the glass, the way he laughs at Mondo, and the way Mondo comes right back at him.  It's really a three way: Keller/Beecher/Brown, because despite the fact that they're in different rooms, Keller is very much a part of what happens.  This is a short piece, I kinda wish she'd done more, but it packs a punch, and just like  the rest of Rustler's fic, this one draws me in and makes me glad I read it.

Notes: From the first Kink and Cliche Challenge ('05)  There were many good Oz fic that came out of that first K&C Challenge, but this one really caught me.  Very hot, very intense.  And very much in character for both of them.  I can actually see this happening, if Keller and Beecher had met up outside Oz.  Keller's agressive, in control and just a bit frightening, especially considering what you know about him if you know the whole series.  But you don't need to know the series to enjoy this fic, it's hot as hell, no matter what.

Notes: This is one of my favorite pairings in Oz...as odd as it seems.  He was only on for a short time, but Andy made quite an impact on me.  There's very little fic with him in it, so I'm always eager to read them when I find them.  This one has just the right amount of disillusioned and bitter Beecher and hurt and angry, but eager to please young Andy.  This fic sends chills up my spine.

Notes: The Palm of God's Hand takes a closer look at the somewhat intimate relationship that Beecher and O'Reily seemed to share during the first Season of the show.  Always touching each other, getting high, wrapped around each other, enjoying their time together.  Part II deals with the time directly before and during the riot at the end of Season One, and the way that impacted their relationship after the riot. 

Having spent close up and personal time with my betas, I kind of wish I could  have shared them with Nicole - she tends to switch tenses, and wander a bit on occasion, but it doesn't hurt my enjoyment of her fic.  You can feel the way Beecher and O'Reily enjoy themselves together, she captures their fun and exuberance, slipping in and out of intimacy easily with the aid of the drugs - and always in character.  It just feels right.

Notes: In this version, Keller never got arrested.  Beecher and Schillinger continue trying to kill each other, and screwing up each other's lives, but eventually, Beecher gets paroled.  He finds it difficult dealing with life on the outside.  He finds his own unique ways to deal with the pressures of the Real World.  I love this Alternate Universe.  I think this is my favorite interpretation of Toby outside of canon.  He's real, raw, and full of pain, and looking for some way to ease it.  It just seems to work for me.

It is a WIP.  I don't like to rec WIPs, but I just love the first chapters of this so much.  I can just read them over and over, and I have, even before I knew she was still writing it, (although at a rather slow pace.)  I don't care.  I'll take what I can get.

Notes: There's always talk about how Keller and Vern ended up together in Lardner Prison, back when Keller was just a boy of 17.  Vern has just been riding his way through prison, but he gets a wake-up call, and realizes he can control his own fate, if he doesn't let it slip through his hands.   Probably one of my favorite Oz fic of all time.
