The music bumping in the club was definitely not Arden's taste but it did have sort of a catchy tune, didn't it? Womanizer womanizer, fingers intertwined in her ebony tresses as she threw her head and swayed her body to the beat. Raven locks were swept back and forth as her hands ran down the sides of her hips and waist. She moved with liquid like grace across the floor, the multi-colored lights bouncing off her hair and face. The club was especially full tonight and the atmosphere was livid as can be. She'd already almost got into a fight with some chick because her boyfriend had been dancing with her. Arden had resisted the urge to smack the chick into next week and opted for keeping a low profile. In her line of work it was important to do so.
However- Arden was not easily forgotten and she definitely had a reputation on the streets. As of right now she had currently staked a total of seven what she knew were vampires and that was only the beginning. She was looking forward to a long career of slaying vampires, Buffy eat your heart out. Blade should take notes. After bumping and grinding her way towards the bar she whipped the sweat from her forehead and slid onto a bar stool. She reached in her back pocket and pulled out her black leather studded wallet. Pulling out a twenty dollar bill she slapped it on the bar and grinned at the bar tender. "Whiskey, in a glass on the rocks." She said as sure of herself as anything. He hurried off to make her drink and she slid around so that she could face the crowd, again.
In truth she came to these places to hunt and dancing was only an added bonus. It was a good work-out, though. She could feel the hot sweat and her heart beat pounded in her chest. Brilliant blue eyes scanned the mass of bodies in hopes something might pop out. Vampires weren't the easiest creatures to hunt she'd come to realize. In fact they were quite possibly the most dangerous ones but Arden didn't see it that way. As the bar tender slid the drink to her side she whipped her head around and snatched up the drink and shook her head when he tried to offer her her change. "I have a feeling I'm going to be here awhile." She said and took a sip of the amber colored liquid. It burned her throat and made her stomach that much hotter. Wincing at the familiar experience she shuddered. Facing the crowd again she bit her lower lip while she watched the people dance.
