Collin ran faster than he'd ever had to, as if his life depended on it. It physically pained him to be away from Katie for as long as he had been, but he couldn't very well sneak into her house all hours of the night when he got off patrol or got done with his homework. Random text messages and too short phone calls weren't enough. The pull to her was too strong not to be near her, touching her, seeing her. It was pure torture since he saw her last.

Running as a wolf seemed like it would take a shorter time to get to her house than if he drove. He knew the right path that would get him there in half the time as opposed to taking the highway to her house. He tied clothes to his ankle before he left, including a shirt. He didn't want to walk into her house shirtless...that'd be kind of awkward if her neighbors were home. He phased back to human about a block away, behind someone's garage and got dressed.

The rain wasn't horrible, but he was kicking himself for not remembering an umbrella. He knocked on Katie's front door, shaking the rain off of him just like a dog as he waited for her on the porch.

It had been far too long since she'd seen Collin. Between school and patrolling, he'd been so busy they'd only managed phone calls and short conversations for a while now. She hated it but she understood of course. Things were crazy and hectic for him as far as patrolling went. She knew it was something she had to do but she didn't like the fact that it kept them apart more than they'd like to be. Sometimes it was physically painful to be away from him for long periods of time. She knew that was silly but she couldn't help but feel it.

So, when he said he would come over she immediately jumped at the chance. She was home from school, taking a mental health day to relax, so they would have the house to themselves. It was the perfect opportunity. The minutes seemed to pass very slowly as she waited for him to arrive but then, a few moments later, she heard a knock at the door and she was bolting down the stairs, almost tripping on her way. She caught herself in time, laughing at her eagerness and made her way to the door.

Wrenching it open, she was met with the sight of a very wet Collin and she grinned, grabbing a fistful of his shirt and tugging him inside as the door slammed behind him. "Hi!" She said brightly, throwing her arms around his neck and burying her face in his neck. God, she'd missed him.

He could hear her bounding down the stairs and he chuckled to himself. Seeing her face at the front door was like having the wind knocked out of him, but in a good way. She pulled him in by his shirt and he laughed, letting her do whatever she wanted. He caught her up in his arms, instantly inhaling the scent of her. The smell had almost totally disappeared from him room since she'd been in there last and he needed an olfactory recharge.

He buried his nose in her hair, practically moaning at the scent. Just as he remembered it. It had only been a couple of weeks, but every fibre of him missed her as if they hadn't seen each other in months. "Hey, Baby," he murmured, forgetting for a moment that his clothes were soaked. He was too busy running his hands over her back to care about anything else at the moment.

God, it really had been far too long. How on earth had they done it? Gone a few weeks without so much as seeing each other? It was torture and very rare. Usually they managed to sneak a visit here and there no matter how busy they were but things lately had been even crazier. She wasn't going to let this time go to waste, though, no way. She was going to milk it for everything it was worth. She suddenly felt as if a weight had been lifted as he caught her in his arms and she didn't care of he was wet and she was getting wet.

"I missed you so much." She murmured into his neck, placing a few kisses there as she did. Even her parents had noticed, asking why they hadn't seen Collin around lately. They loved him and had gotten used to him being around a lot and had noticed when he hadn't been. "This being apart thing doesn't quite work for us, does it?" She asked with a smile, pulling back to look at him and run her fingers through the wet hair on his forehead and above his ear.

He set her down on her feet, unable to wipe the grin off of his face. Seeing her made him so incredibly happy. Obviously he'd never felt that way before, but this imprinting thing gave him all sorts of emotions and feelings he'd never had in his life before. Now he could spend all afternoon with her before he went on patrol later in the night. It felt like so much time and not enough all at once.

"We're so not good at the being apart thing. I know I suck at it bigtime," he smiled, turning his face towards her hand and kissing her palm. He missed every inch of her, from the top of her head to the bottom of her toes. He took her face in his hands and pressed his lips against hers, a feeling he missed more than anything else in the world. Kissing her was like breathing. He needed it in order to survive.

Katie didn't know what the imprinting thing felt like but she did know she was damn happy Collin imprinted on her. Even without it she kind of had an idea what it was like to feel bound to someone for eternity. She was like that with Collin. She knew there would never be anyone else for her ever again. Collin was it. She was done looking. She might only be eighteen and he may only be sixteen but it didn't matter. They both knew.

"Mmhmm, being apart? Not ideal." She grinned at him when he kissed her palm and then when he kissed her she lost all other thoughts in her head and was immediately responding. It had been far too long. Her hands lifted up to rest on his chest and she poured all her emotions into the kiss. After a few moments she pulled away only slightly to speak. "We should invest in webcams or something so this doesn't happen again." She murmured between kisses, placing them on his lips between her words.

He laughed again, unable to keep the euphoric feeling from bubbling over into giggles. "Webcams? I'll keep that in mind," he smiled mischeviously. Of course his mind went to the less innocent aspect of having a webcam in both of their rooms...he was a sixteen year old boy hidden inside a much older looking body. It was then he noticed that his clothes were probably getting Katie covered in rainwater, too.

"I should take this off," he said, pulling his shirt over his head and letting it hit the floor with a wet thud. It wouldn't make a big difference anyways when he was leaving, he could just phase in her backyard and not have to worry about his wet clothes since he wouldn't be wearing them. "Sorry about that...it was raining more than I thought it would be. Bad dog," he jokingly chided himself before pressing his lips against hers once more, pulling her body right up against his.

She giggled along with him, knowing where his mind was headed. "Well, that way we can see each other when we talk!" She provided and then smiled mischieviously. "And do other satisfying things on them." She added a wink for good measure. Sometimes she forgot that Collin was only sixteen since he looked much older than that but there were certain moments that brought her back down,. such as his giggling when she mentioned the webcams. She didn't mind it at all though, it wasn't like she cared about the age difference.

Katie watched eagerly as Collin discarded his shirt, never being able to get used to the sight of him without it. He had no idea how gorgeous he was. Sometimes she couldn't take her eyes off him. She laughed at his little joke and then proceeded to kiss him again, her arms flying up and around his neck this time, hands tangling in his wet hair and pulling him closer. It didn't leave her mind that they were alone in the house and would be for hours.

The wink killed his brain for a moment. For someone with such an innocent face, her mind was just as dirty as his at times. "I'll go to the mall ASAP and see how much they cost," he laughed, running his hands through her hair. He couldn't get enough of touching her, everything in him craved it. Her hair, her face, her skin. He ran his hands up and down her arms as he smiled at her.

He was surprised at how enthusiastically just jumped on him to kiss him again. Not that he was complaining, not in the least. Picking her up in his arms, he never once broke the kiss as he walked them upstairs to her room. Making out in the front room was fine for a while, but he wanted the comfort of her amazing bed and the sweet smell of her room. The house smelled like her, but her room had the strongest concentration of the smell in there. Every single one of his senses begged to be filled with her.

Katie had never been like that before as far as having the dirty thoughts and whatnot. Sure she had always been bold and outgoing but the dirty mind thing started when she met Collin. He opened up a whole new world for her in that sense and she loved it. She couldn't picture herself being with anyone else other than him and when they were together in that way it was perfet and mindblowing and she couldn't get enough. She was pretty much addicted to him and she wasn't ashamed to admit it.

One of the pluses of having a werewolf boyfriend was the strength he possessed. He picked her up without another thought and before she knew it they were in her room. She didn't break the kiss either as she pulled him back towards her bed with him. It wasn't like all they did was kiss or have sex but at this moment both of those were the only things on her mind. She hadn't seen him properly in weeks and when did they ever get the house to themselves? It was rare and she wanted to take advantage of it. So when the back of her knees hit the bed and she fell back on it, she took him with her.

She was as light as a feather to him. His strength still surprised him from time to time, considering how he probably wouldn't have been able to lift anything over 50 lbs before he phased for the first time. He ran up the stairs faster than normal, feeling relieved that he didn't have to hide anything from Katie. That was the best part about having an imprint. Someone who you could be yourself around, fully and completely.

She pulled him towards the bed and smiled to himself as he kissed her and lowered both og their bodies on to the bed. "Hi," he murmured, resting his body on top of hers, holding himself up slightly so he wouldn't crush her. It was like he was seeing her for the first time all over again. "I love you," he whispered repeatedly in her ear as he ground his hips against hers.

Katie couldn't hep the moan that escaped her lips when he ground his hips against hers, goosebumps forming all over her skin because of it and the warmth coming off of his body. Another perk about a werewolf boyfriend, you certainly never got cold. Katie had her own personal heater with Collin and it came in handy on those cold winter nights. She remembered when she'd gotten sick and just having him hold her and warm her up had made her feel better. Definitely convenient.

"Mmm, love you too, baby." She murmured, pulling his head down to kiss him again and tangling her hands in his hair. One of her legs hitched up around his hip and she wondered how they had possibly gone this long without doing this. She was careful with her fingers as they ran through his hair, not wanting his hair to get caught on the promise ring she never took off. "No more being apart, 'kay?" She murmured breathless between kisses.

The sounds of Katie's moans turned Collin on further. His desire for her was bordering on painful. Her body fit perfectly right up against his and he smiled at the thought. Like two puzzle pieces. He wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tight, but not so tight that she couldn't breathe. There would never come a time when he would have enough of her. He could never get enough.

"That's a deal I can agree to," he smiled, breathing just as heavy, catching her lips again and moaning as he felt her fingers run through his hair. She knew all the little things that would completely drive him insane with pleasure. He pushed up her shirt to feel the smooth, soft skin of her stomach under his fingertips. "So beautiful," he murmured, looking straight into her eyes as he said so.

Katie knew Collin's werewolf responsibilities were important and time consuming but sometimes it sucked just how much time they did take up. Going days, weeks without seeing him was not ideal and very hard to do. To think, she hadn't even known him a year ago and now she couldn't live without him. She had become, though she had always been she guessed, a firm believer in fate and destiny. They had been meant for each other after all and had been meant to meet.

She loved that a simple thing like running her fingers through his hair could get a moan out of him. She smiled against his lips, continuing the motion of feeling his hair between her fingertips. When he pushed her shirt up to feel her skin, she reached down, breaking the kiss for a moment, to pull the material over her head and toss it aside. She kissed him again and began running her hands over the hot skin of his chest, knowing she would never get used to just how gorgeous and wonderful he was.

Collin was getting used to the fact that his extracirricular activites were reduced to patrolling and other things to do for the pack, but he didn't resent it as much anymore as he did in the beginning. Even though there were more of them now, any threat to the rez increased the numbers of them on patrol at once. Now it was a matter of finding balance between Katie, the pack, and school. His grades hadn't suffered any, but he was feeling more and more burnt out while these stupid Volturi were in town.

He pushed all other thoughts out of his mind and focused on Katie, her lips, and her body so sweetly against his. When her shirt hit the floor, he grabbed greedily at her newly exposed skin, making short work of her bra. The feeling of skin on skin elicited another moan from his throat. He slid his hand down her side, all the way down her hip and under her knee, hitching it up around his hip. What a reunion, he thought to himself with a grin.

Katie couldn't imagine what it was like to have to do so many things and keep up with all of them at once. That was why she did her best to be understanding when Collin couldn't see her as often as she would like. She hated it but she understood and though she would mention she missed him and wanted to see him, she wouldn't force anything because she knew how important patrolling was and school and everything else he had to do. She didn't have to like the fact that he was so busy but she could support it.

Far too long, it had been far too long. And so, when her shirt and then suddenly her bra were gone off her body, she felt the tingles of anticipation of what was to come. She had a feeling this was going to happen when he came over. Two weeks of not seeing each other and what, they were going to just talk? Not a chance. Her hold tightened on him, her leg curling around his hip before her hands left his hand to move down to the waistband of his pants, soaked from the rain and needing to come off for several reasons.

There had to be a way that he could balance the three things that were most important in his life right now: his love, his work, and his duty. He made a silent vow not to go so long without seeing or talking to Katie. It wasn't fair to either of them. He was being selfish, taking the fact that Katie would always be there for granted. She needed him as much as he needed her. He could tell by the way she kissed him that she missed him the same way he missed her.

Sex wasn't the number one thing on his mind when he decided to skip school and see Katie instead. But it wasn't the last thing either. Seeing her and smelling her miles away from her house was too much for him to bear. She was completely irresistable to him. "Sorry," he whispered, embarrassed that his pants were soaked and probably dirty and were unfortunately pressed up against her. Undoing his fly, he peeled them off with a laugh. "Much better."

Sometimes it was just the little things that would make her miss Collin. Like when she drove to school and she felt the heat coming out of the vents in her car and she was reminded of him. Or when they were discussing a novel she knew he loved in her English class and she thought of him. Small things reminded her of him and made her miss him even more than she already did. But she understood. She knew he had a duty to fufill and she was proud of him for that. It was amazing what him and the rest of the pack were doing protecting everyone.

She shook her head with a smile when he apologized, telling him she didn't care and kissed him again, moving her hand down to push at the waistband of his boxers, a clear indication she wanted them gone but couldn't do it herself from their current position. She didn't know if he'd come prepared but she'd stashed a couple condoms in her drawers a few months back just in case things like this happened. At least they didn't have to worry about her parents coming home or hearing them since it was the middle of the day.

By the time Collin got back from patrol or done with his schoolwork, it was often way too late to call her, even to tell her goodnight and that he loved her. But he'd listen to the music of hers that she'd recorded for him and let the sound of her voice drift him off to sleep. Her singing made it feel like she was right there with him, despite the cold side of the bed where she usually laid.

Collin got the idea that she wanted his boxers off and he slid them down his legs with a smile. Now, it was Katie's turn. He unbuttoned her pants and worked them down her hips, frantically moving, as if their lives depended on it. He stuffed a condom, just in case, in his jeans before he left, but his jeans were a wet, sopping mess on her floor. "Oh God, Katie," he breathed, kissing her neck hungrily.

Katie wondered how people in long distance relationships did it. Not being able to see Collin was horrible and she couldn't imagine when people were separated by cities or states. Living off of phone calls, emails had to be very difficult and yet these people made it work. She knew Collin and her could do the same but that didn't make it any less hard. She didn't know what was going to happen when thy graduated and he had to stay in La Push and she went off to university in Seattle. It would be hard but at least he could run to her faster than it took to drive.

"I love you," she breathed heavily, reaching down and taking Collin in her hand, stroking him lightly. She felt that he was already aroused and it made her smile knowing he was feeling the same things she was at the moment. They hadn't seen each other in a few weeks but it had been even longer since they'd had sex and were obviously both wanting it very much. "Top drawer..." She said breathlessly, telling him if he didn't have the protection, she did.

This was the last time he was going to go so long without talking to her. Even though he insisted at times to patrol around her house, it wasn't the same as being with her, being able to talk to her instead of whine as they ran by her house. At least he could smell her a little bit as the rest of the guys chided him for purposely making them run near her place.

He choked on his intake of air as he felt her fingers on him. "Love you," he whispered, his arm wildly searching for the top drawer of her bedside table. He blindly grabbed a foil packet and placed it in her hand. With both hands, he pulled down her panties and tossed them on the floor with the rest of their clothes. His hands ran up her smooth legs, settling between them, feeling how turned on she was. He looked at her hungrily as he pushed a finger inside of her.

Katie honestly didn't care if Collin just popped in her window at 3 am for five minutes as long as she got to see him. She always left her window unlocked in case he decided t come over after patrolling. He'd only done that once before but the possibility of it appening again maybe her want to make it as easy as possible of it did. She wouldn't care fi he woke her up if that meant she got to see him for a few minutes. That's all that mattered. Phone calls and online conversations just weren't enough. It'd be much easier if they went to the same school but that wasn't going to happen either.

She took the packet from him, her fingers fumbling as she groaned when he pushed a finger in her. She was fumbling to rip the damn thing, and when she couldn't she reached up and tore it with her teeth, tossing the wrapper in the still open drawer and rolling it on him quickly. Wanting to give him more access to her and needing to feel him deeply in her, she moved her legs so they were up on his shoulders. "Please, Collin..." She gasped, need and want evident in her voice and her laboured breathing.

Maybe when they graduated, it'd be easier. They'd both get jobs, but at least they didn't have the school day and homework taking up so much of the little amount of time they could spend together. And hopefully the bloodsuckers wouldn't be causing so much trouble and they could back off on patrolling all the time. He felt like there wasn't enough time in the world he could spend with her.

They were both so desperate for the connection that they hadn't had in what seemed like a millenia, they skipped right over all possible foreplay and jumped straight to the sex. Which Collin wasn't objecting to. He wanted nothing more than to make her happy, to oblige her every wish. He wasn't about to stop now. Quickly and effortlessly, he slid inside of her, groaning at the feeling of it...it was like nothing else in the world. He held on to her hips and thrust slowly, biting his bottom lip to keep himself in control.

Katie couldn't wait until school and patrolling didn't get in the way of them being able to spend time together. Both were obviously important but she hoped that the patrolling would let up a bit, of the vampires stopped showing up in Forks and maybe they would at least get some time together during the Christmas holidays. Days would be free then for seeing one another and that was a plus but they still had a ways to wait before that time would come.

Katie's body immediately adjusted to him. Even though it had been a little while since they'd done this, her body automatically accomodated him. He was the only one she'd ever done this with and would be the only one she ever did and so he body was prepared for that and they fit together perfectly. Moaning loudly as he did move into her, one of her hands went up into her hair, while the other clutched at the comforter. She would have held onto him with with her legs up on his shoulders she couldn't reach him laying down. It didn't matter, this new position was allowing him to go deeper into her and it felt incredible.

Being with Katie in whatever sense they could be together in, whether it was just hanging out or ripping each other's clothes off in a fit of passion, was something Collin knew he couldn't live without. It was like she was a vital organ or a limb. He felt whole when he was with her, after living so long with a feeling like something was missing.

Colling held onto her legs as he pushed in and out, sweat already forming on his forehead. It had been so long and the feeling was far too good. Granted, he'd taken care of his overflowing sexual tension more then a few times, but his hand was no match for Katie's body. "Katie," he breathed out, feeling how deep inside of her he really was.

Katie definitely missed the summer days when they had all the time in the world together. The first week they had met had been day after day spent in each other's presence and when things progressed to a relationship their seeing each other and talking became even more frequent. And then school started and it was less and now things were so crazy with his patrolling it was even less than that and even more difficult. But Katie knew they'd be fine. Nothing was going to shake their relationship. It was solid.

Katie moaned at the feeling of his movements which she had been without for so long. Getting tired of not being able to touch him, she dropped her legs from his shoulders, wrapping them around his waist instead which maintained the deep connection and pulled his head down so she could kiss him and tangle her fingers in his hair. She moaned against his lips and when she parted them just slightly whispered, "Much better." With a smile and another moan as he hit a spot inside her.

The one constant in his life that mattered was Katie. He couldn't get rid of the wolf inside of him and he couldn't imagine giving up the brotherhood he felt with the rest of the pack, but Katie was the one person he could be around every second of every day and not get irritated with. Not seeing her became more and more painful as the days went on. And now they were together...and that all he cared about.

He dug his fingers into the skin of her hips as he ground their bodies together. It felt so amazing to be inside of her, every part of their bodies touching. He smiled at the same time she did, holding back the moan that was threatening to escape his lips as she writhed underneath him. Kissing her again, he wrapped his arms around her tightly as he sped up.
