Heading to Lee's dorm after class had become some sort of habit by now for Lauren. It was rare the day she didn't spend at leats an hour with Lee, either talking or just lying in his bed watching him play video games or listening to music with him. She didn't want to admit it, but she was very glad that she had someone she knew in LA. It was a huge city and although her brother was there to take care of her (under direct orders from their father), he could not always spend time with her. So slowly she found herself spending more and more time with Lee. And she really liked it. He was so cute and adorable. Always knew what to say to make her smile.

Knocking on the door, she didn't wait for an answer and walked into the room. "Hey Lee." She greeted with a smile.

Lee really didn't know what he would do with himself if Lauren didn't come by his dorm room after class. He was very used to her presence every day for at least an hour. Sometimes more. And he really was glad for her company, even if it meant they just sat around and talked or she passed the time by lying on his bed and watching him play videogames. Listening to music was a given. He was the biggest music enthusiast in the world, after all! It really was nice having someone familiar with him in L.A. Everyone else from Forks had gone to school close to home for the most part. But he'd been lucky enough to be going to the same school as the girl he'd had a crush on for just about forever. Spending time with her was something he definitely didn't mind. Just gave him more time to admire how pretty she was...and potentially fantasize about what it would be like to kiss her.

He was playing SSX 2 on his Playstation when he heard the knock on the door. Judging from the way that whoever it was just opened the door, not waiting for an answer, told him that it was Lauren. Lee looked up with a smile, pausing the game for a minute. "Hey Lauren." Was it just him, or was she even prettier today than usual?

"How are you?" He leaned back against the footboard of his bed, setting the game controller in his lap for a second.

Lauren flipped her hair over one shoulder in a seemly casual but very studied way, and walked over to the bed, flopping down into the bed. "Bored. I just had the most uninteresting and soporific two hours of my life. I actually thought I was going to die of boredom right there in my seat. Not even when Gina texting me about her hooking up with some lacrosse player last night was interesting enough to save me."

She rolled on her stomach and moved closed to him, resting her head on her arms next to his. "How was your day? Better than mine, I hope."

Seemingly casual or not, seeing her flip that shining blonde hair over her shoulder was a sight to see. Her mannerisms, no matter what they were, were just yet another thing about her to like. Lee listened to her talk, watching as she came and flopped onto his bed. "Really? Not even news about who's hooking up with who could make you less bored? That's surprising." He chuckled a little bit. "I guess when the professors get their degrees they don't get a certificate on teaching in a way that doesn't bore students to death." His professors were just as boring. Which was why his MP3 player came in handy a lot some days.

He turned to look at her and answer her question. "It was okay. Spent most of it not paying attention in class and then playing videogames and listening to music." His shoulders lifted in a shrug. "Same old, same old. I'm just glad you came by to brighten up my day."

Lauren chuckled with him. "I know, right? I don't know who was more surprised, Gina or myself." She sighed. "Seriously." How was she supposed to pay attention in class if the professors didn't make the class interesting? All she could think about was when would be the time to leave that torture and talk to Lee.

It was funny how he was practically on her thoughts all the time now. Whenever she heard a song she would think about him, wondering if he'd like it or if that was the one they listen to the previous week or the other. Of course she didn't tell anyone she thought about him. That'd seem like she liked him and she didn't, right?... Right.

She grinned at him and ruffled his hair. "That's what I'm here for, to brighten everyone's day with my wonderful and awesome presence."

"Maybe you were both equally surprised. It would make sense, don't you think?" Lee really couldn't stop chuckling to himself. Who hooked up with whom wasn't exactly something he was all that interested in, but Lauren was and apparently her friends were. "Oh well. At least we get to hang out and make each other less bored." He would have paid attention if the professors were making the subject matter interesting. But it wasn't, so it just left him with time to tune out and think about when he would get to talk to Lauren.

He already thought about her all the time already. That was how it worked when you felt about a girl in the way that he felt about Lauren. So many songs reminded him of her now and it seemed like whenever he saw a blonde girl on campus flipping her hair he thought about how much better it would look if Lauren was the one doing it. But he never told anyone about it. Just kept quiet about it...though there was no denying that he liked her more and more from day to day.

He was still grinning as she ruffled his hair. "And I'm lucky that you even want to part with some of that wonderful awesomeness to make my day better."

Lauren pondered that question for a second or two before nodding, chuckling softly. "Probably." Who hooked up with who was something extremely important. What if one of Lauren's friend wanted to hook up with some boy Lauren hooked up with first? They'd need to ask her if it was okay to hook up with him and/or ask if he was any good. That were things any girl needed to know. "That is very true." She said with a smile.

She rolled on her back again and turned her head toward his. "But of course! You're the first person whose day I want to make better, Lee! Because if you're happy, you can cheer me up when I need it and make me laugh and hug me and.. well, all those thinsg you do."

Who hooked up with who seemed to be an essential crutch for being in-the-know in college. Lee didn't really care about that kind of stuff because he wasn't that kind of guy. But there wasn't anything wrong with Lauren finding it important. It was different with girls, after all. "True and something that I look forward to every day after class." He grinned again with a slight chuckle.

"Makes sense. But you know, even if I wasn't happy, I would want to cheer you up and make you laugh and give you hugs. I don't like seeing you unhappy." And he meant that. Seeing her upset made him upset. "Pretty girls should never be unhappy." Lee smiled some and then picked up the Playstation controller again.

Before un-pausing the game, he turned to look at her again. "You wanna play? I've got another controller..."

Lauren grinned at him. He was too good sometimes, seriously. He was always worrying about her and making sure she was happy and good. He was like a personal assistant, only that Lauren didn't pay him and considered more of a very good friend -- although she wouldn't say no if, when she was famous, he wanted to work as her assistant. Better have someone you fully trust close, right?

"You're so cute, Lee." She leaned and kissed his cheek, knowing he'd probably blush. He always did, even if he shoudl've got used to it after all the kisses. "No, thanks. I like watching you play."

To him, it just seemed like the right thing to do. Lee was naturally a good guys and he knew how to treat a girl. His parents had raised him right, after all! So it was only natural that he worried about Lauren and wanted to make sure she was alright. And happy, of course. Maybe it was a little personal assistant-esque, but it was also being a good friend. Not that being Lauren's personal assistant would be a bad thing. She would be famous someday, there was no doubting that, and it was always good to have the people you trusted close to you. Some celebrities weren't so lucky.

"Uh, thanks." He said, not able to help the grin that spread across his face when she kissed him on the cheek. She'd done it before and yet every time he would grin and blush a light pink. "Alright. Suit yourself. It's really fun."

With that he un-paused the game, though kept the volume down. His little snowboarder was in the middle of performing a trick for points. "So...have anything exciting planned for the rest of the day?"

"It does look fun, but you know I only like to play Tekken and Crash Bandicoot." Lauren was a big video game fan. She coud play some, like the ones she said, but she'd rather watch people play. She always got frustrated and/or nervous when she got attacked or was killed or something like that. So in the end she only played the two games she knew because she'd been playing them since ever and let the others play with the rest.

"Not really." She said with a shrug. "Probably going out later with Gina and the girls... You?"

"Well I know I have Tekken laying around her somewhere if you wanted to play. Though you might just kick my ass." Lee chuckled some, his eyes going back to the screen. The race he was playing on the game was almost over and it looked like he was going to come in first. Nice. He was an avid videogame player in addition to his love of music. The whole attacking and killing in some games didn't bug him that much. It was just a game. That's why he played just about every video game at least once.

"Girl's night, huh? Going to a party or just out?" He didn't ask to pry. Just because he was curious. "I'll probably be lazing around here and just watching movies or something."

Lauren nodded, laughing softly. "Probably. I'm kinda awesome at Tekken." Modesty? What was that? "Maybe later, when you finish this game." She said with a grin, nodding to the screen.

"I'm guessing we'll go out and if we find a party, we'll get in. It's not like frat boys are going to say no to us." Because, seriously, who in their right mind would say no to Lauren Mallory? There was no party until she arrived! She rolled on her stomach again and glanced at him. For some reason, staying with him watching movies sounded as good - or even better - than partying all night. But she didn't say anything about staying. "Do you want to come? The girls totally won't mind. It'll be fun!"

Modesty was overrated. "Hopefully you don't plow me into the ground too badly." He laughed again as he finally finished the race, the '1st Place' message displaying on the screen in bright gold letters. "There, finished. Still want to play?" If not then he could just keep playing.

"If they did say no, they'd be stupid." No one in their right mind would say no to Lauren. She was gorgeous, after all. One of those girls that made a pary just by being there. Lee really would have liked to just hang out with her and watch movies. Not that he would say anything about it. "Are you sure you want me to come? I won't cramp your style or anything?" He chuckled some, turning to look at her.

Lauren chuckled, patting his head lightly. "I'll try not to." She nodded, looking at him. "Yeah, definitely."

"Exactly! Althougj most frat boys are kind of stupid." She laughed. She ran a hard through her hair and flipped it over one shoulder. "I wouldn't have said you could come if I didn't want you there, silly. And you totally won't cramp anyone's style." She said with a chuckle, smiling at him. "And if you get bored or something, we can leave. It's not a big deal."

"I appreciate your effort." Lee couldn't help but laugh as he got up to change the game over. Soon his Playstation was reset and Tekken was loading on the screen. He grabbed the other wireless controller and handed it to her once he was back in his spot.

"I think I've met door knobs smarter than some of them. But they would be even more stupid if they didn't let you and the girls into a party." He watched her slip her hair, thinking about just how pretty she was yet again. Yes, if you must know, it was a rather constant thought in the back of his mind. "Well as long as you're sure. I'll come along." How could he say no to that smile? "You don't have to leave on account of me, you know."

Lauren laughed with him. He had one of those laughs that made you laugh with him. Or at least it made her laugh, and since whatever happened to her was the truth, Lee's laugh could make anyone laugh too. She took the controller and moved to sit down on the floor next to him to be more comfortable.

"Great!" She exclaimed, throwing one arm around him and hugging him. "Don't be silly. I wouldn't have a good time if I knew you weren't enjoying the party. Besides, the girls would kick me if they saw me upset or worried - they'd say I was killing the mood or something - so in order to let that not happen, I'd leave with you whenever you want." Yes, Lauren Mallory was being selfless in a way... Unbelievable, we know.

He didn't much mind having a contagious laugh if it made her laugh. Lee loved hearing Lauren laugh and seeing her smile. He started to set the game up, choosing the option for a two player versus battle and then going through to pick his fighter.

He grinned as she hugged him, trying not to drop his own controller. "And we can't have you being kicked for killing the mood, now can we? That would be a crime." Was she being selfless? He had to be a special exception, because he was rather sure she didn't do that for most other people... "But anyway, if I'm out with you I'm sure I'll have a good time."

Lauren grinned at him happily and picked her favourite fighter, Nina Williams. Who would have evern imagined that Lauren Mallory was happy playing vidoe games and even having a favorite fighter?

"We definitely can't! Specially not when everyone knows I'm the heart of the party." There was the Lauren we all knew, with an ego the size of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills conbined. "That's what I hope so."
