Hello friends!

Just as an FYI, Rowena has had a bit of a change and makeover. Her previous canon wasn't clicking in place as I'd liked, same with her PB swap, so I did some think and I believe that I found one that's going to work really well for her. Everything about her life in Dunhaven will remain the same, except that she's going to be dreaming about Thalia Grace from Riordanverse (and she also looks like Jessica Stroup now). She has been dreaming and has an idea that there are people dreaming about people she knows from said dreams, but she's basically only seen until she was pine tree'd so she's kept her distance thus far. That will change soon enough!

Hello everyone!

For those unaware, I've been on hiatus for the last week or so due to some various things going on in my life; long story short, I've been feeling very stretched in the old mental health area because of some personal stuff and I just needed to take an official hiatus because my inability to be creative was becoming another source of mental strain/stress and I needed space to reset. I'm officially back from hiatus as of today and I feel better in general, but I just wanted to give everyone a head's up that I'm still kind of easing back into things. I know that there are things that I missed and I will go back and look at everything, but I'm trying not to overwhelm my brain. :)

That being said, if you would like to do anything specific with any of my characters, please let me know.

Hello! It's Jamie and I should have intro'd this guy eons ago. This is Vikram Patel aka Hades from the Lore Olympus webcomic. Just a few quick things about Vik:

- Vik was born in NJ, but his mother is a Dunhaven native; her family is linked to the Hopkins family, with the infamous Grandma being his Great Aunt. His mom moved him and his brothers to Dunhaven when he was in 2nd grade, so it's home to him.

- When his mother married his step-father, their families combined in a very Brady Bunch sort of way; he has two younger brothers and three step-sisters. They also have a shared half-sister, who is six. It makes for a very big and loud household, especially since they also have a whole bunch of dogs.

- His step-father's family owns the funeral home in town and he's helped out with cleaning and accepting deliveries and what have you since he was sixteen. Now he helps out when he can, mostly on weekends.

- He graduated high school from Aurelius in 2017 and did go to UofD, but he withdrew at the end of last semester because he just felt directionless and like he's wasting money. He plans on going back to school, but in the meantime he was hired by Angie Phillips to be her PA.

- He has been dating Mindy Smithwick, the daughter of Aurelius's headmaster, since they were sophomores. They're very different in that Mindy was very popular in school and kind of a Queen Bee, while Vik has always been the more laidback type that didn't really care about the social politics of school. But they got along well, at least until recently. Mindy has been on study abroad in Greece since the start of this school year, but he'd started to feel some distance growing between them before she left. They got into a fight about him withdrawing from school when she was home for Christmas and things have been better, but tense since then. It doesn't help that they're in different timezones and only communicate via text or video chat when they can, but... you know. Vik is holding out hope things will be better when she comes home for summer, but secretly isn't holding his breath.

- In general, he is a nice guy that is pretty quiet and unassuming. It isn't hard for someone to coax him out of his shell. He is very protective of his people, though, and is also very generous with his funds and time. It takes a lot to push him to lose his temper if you do something personally to him, but he's quick to defend his faves. He's a Slytherin with a heavy dose of Hufflepuff.

Okay, there you go! I'd love to talk friends and plot for him of all sorts.

Also, I wanted to apologize for being largely absent the last couple of weeks. I think everyone has been hit in one way or another with everything going on. Usually when my anxiety gets bad, I turn to RP for distraction, but I've been struggling with focusing there as well, so it's been a weird and complicated time. I do want to jump back into things as I feel myself needing the creative outlet, so I hope to be doing more soon. I know I talked to some of you about logs and then promptly didn't start any -- if you're still interested, let me know. Thank you for being patient with me. <3

Hello!!

So I am officially fully back from vacation and hiatus, having gotten back into the swing of things at work and cleaned my house. Someone left it a real disaster after their quick packing, no idea who. That said, I'd love to jump into some logs and such. I only have one going right now and that just seems weird. I feel like I had talked to a few people about stuff before leaving, but I can't remember exactly what so please feel free to remind me or come to me if there's something you'd like to do with someone new. I'll probably likewise reach out, but I wanted to just ~throw it out there~ to get the ball rolling.

I'd especially love to knock out some prompts, if we can manage that. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I can turn squares pink. 😉

Sup hi, it's me again. More interestingly, this is Sullivan Matthews aka Scorpius Malfoy from Harry Potter. I am going to make a wild attempt at keeping this short and sweet.

- Sullivan is originally from Boston! He comes from money on his paternal side and is related to the Nichols fam (and the Salazars by marriage kinda through Vanessa) on his maternal side. He came to Dunhaven when he was 11 and started going to school at Aurelius. He graduated in 2013 and was on the crew team. He was pretty shy overall in school, though anyone that got through his shyness was rewarded with a very loyal friend.

- Went to the university and finished his Masters degree in spring of 2019. He's now working at a museum in DC.

- Quick facts: He loves to read, but doesn't own many books as he relies on the library. He's a surprisingly good cook. Loves playing video games. Total introvert and is pretty socially awkward when he tries to people outside of his comfort zone. He accepts Sully as a nickname, but only from people he's particularly close to.

- Low key in love with Landon and has been for like... ever. But he's also his best friend and has been since they were 11 and Sullivan not here for ruining that with things like feelings, especially since he's pretty sure there's no way said feelings could be returned. So he pines away in silence.

- And there's more about him here! I mirrored a lot of the early life canon stuff for Scorpius, so there's some tragic stuff in there, as a head's up.

I would love to talk lines and friendships and all that good stuff! I'd especially like to discuss stuff with the other Wentworths, since he's been basically attached to Landon's hip for years now.

AND THIS is Natalie Baldwin! Call her Nat. Or Natalie. Whatever floats your boat, really. She moonlights as Nott from Critical Role, but mostly she is your friendly, neighborhood mom friend and computer repair person.

Natalie is originally from Wisconsin (heck yeah) and lived there until 2010, when she abruptly moved to Dunhaven. The long and short of her history is that she grew up the youngest of four, with three older brothers that she has little to no relationship with. She met her late husband in high school (class of 2000) and they married young, after she found out she was pregnant early on in their college careers. She had a brief flirtation with hacking, before she went white hat and spent time as a computer security expert. Her husband passed away in 2010, which sort of flipped the switch on her dreams. Not long after, she took a job in DC and moved herself and her son to Dunhaven where she has been ever since! In 2015, she opened a computer repair shop in town, since there hadn't been one previously and she had made a name for herself as Tech Support for people in town. She's friendly, outgoing, and kind, if a bit quirky and tactlessly honest. She means well, most of the time. You can read more about her here! There are some spoilers for CR in there, but I have them marked, if you're worried about that.

Since she has been in town for nearly ten years, she should definitely have some connections! :3 She tends to collect people, especially those she can take care of, and is a total mom friend. Chase is her #1 adopted son, despite being not all that much younger than her, but she has definitely pulled in others. Her home is basically and open house for these people; during the holidays, for example, hers is the place to go if you have nowhere else to. Outside of that, I'd love some friends, people who might have been a failed dating attempt (she's only recently gotten back onto that scene), or people that might be connected to her son?

Also, she has a garage on her property that has been renovated to be a studio apartment! She has it on Airbnb, but it's available for rent if someone wants to live in it full time. If anyone is thinking of bringing someone in or someone already in game that might be interested in living there, let me knooow. She could also use a couple employees.

OH ALSO, she has been gone since late November! She's been back in Wisconsin, but she'll be returning basically when I introduce her IC. :3

Hi friends!

So I've been feeling the itch to do some more writin' and I am about to have a ~four day weekend~ that starts at 2 tomorrow in which I don't have much planned outside of a meal of Thursday and finally watching Mandelorian. I know that's not the case for everyone, but in case anyone is interested, please hit me up for some logs! Specific or not, I am up for things. I would especially love to fill out some more spaces in my bingo card, should anyone want some vaguely holiday themed fun. (And as a reminder, my army can be found here.)

Okay, hi. This is my last character for a while, all right. (Definitely.) ANYWAY! This is Esther Shaw, who moonlights as Essek Thelyss from Critical Role. She's not yet in town, but has been texting her brother so I figured an introduction is necessary. ( Click for info! This got long because I wasn't paying attention. )

So anyway! She is going to be brand new to town, so I know that the people she will know personally will be limited. However, she's pretty friendly and can be social when she wants to, so I'd love for her to make friends and connections. She won't shy away from people that recognize her, if they make that known, and will probably be spending a lot of time at the library and local coffee shops. I also would love old connections too, if we can think of ways people might have crossed paths with her; her hometown, college, Chicago, just from traveling around? Let's see what we can figure out. <3

Hello! It's meeee, chiming in from vacation with a new character, because if Andrea was going to play someone from Critical Role, y'all know I couldn't help myself. So this is Michael Beaumont, who moonlights as Beau Lionett from Critical Role!

Michael, who goes pretty much exclusively by Mica, has a whole complicated history listed out in her bio (please note the content warnings before her history) but here are the bullet points: ( More heeere! )

That's baaasically it! Though, as a note, due to her father's politics and hers severely clashing and the distance between father and daughter being noticeable, she has become accidentally known in some political circles through her social media and general involvement. She's very outspoken and doesn't shy away from letting her opinions be known. Her intent is to eventually get into politics in some way, potentially as an adviser or something background. For now, though, she just uses her presence online to bring light to issues, causes, and such that she believes in. Bonus that it pisses her dad off. A lot.

ANYWAY. I'd love things for her! Past relationships would have probably been vaguely casual and she is a lesbian, but I'm open to plotting! Also open for future things! Friends would be wonderful as well; she's very much about chosen family, so she makes a good friend once you get past her somewhat prickly exterior and hesitance to open up. Since she's been in town for a while, though, I'd say she's had time to make some friends outside of Chase. :3 Hit me uuup.

HELLO FRIENDS! Remember when I said Jane was my last for a long time? Hahahhaha, those were simpler times. Kinder times. Times before I finally saw Hamilton.

So, this is Beth Phillips! She moonlights as Eliza Hamilton.

A Dunhaven native, Beth's family has been around for a long time and is pretty known in one way or another. Her dads settled in town to start a family, which they did through surrogacy, and Beth is the middle of the three Phillips sisters. She's always been very sweet and kind and was someone that could be counted on to befriend the new kid or go out of her way to defend someone being teased while in school. Befriending the new kid is how she met Luke Marlow in high school, who she eventually married...and then eventually divorced. It was the divorce and the rumors/scandal that came with it that left Beth leaving town a few years back to move to Baltimore, just for some space and a chance to reset.

But, she's missed her loved ones, so she's back! She is taking a teaching position as a kindergarten teacher at the elementary school that unexpectedly opened up mid-year and will be moving into the new townhouses.

There's a lot more to be read about her here, so feel free to peruse if you're interested. Otherwise, I would love some lines for her! She graduated class of 2009, so some friends from school days would be amazing. And as mentioned, she does have two sisters that I'd love to see filled; they don't necessarily have to be Angelica or Peggy, obviously. ;)

Hi friends! Just as an FYI, we're making our official move of all the big furniture tomorrow to our new apartment and therefore most of my time will now be spent there! While this is most exciting, we will not have internet there until Tuesday. This is most distressing, though also probably for the best because I will have unpacking and last minute moving of stuff and cleaning of the old place to do before we're officially out BUT I still foresee that I'll be around in some way, shape, or form as I will have my phone and I also will need breaks. 🤷‍♀️

Hi guys! It's Jamie and I have another one. 🤷

This is Juliet Hart, but please call her Jules. She will be a new resident of Dunhaven, though she isn't necessarily new to Dunhaven. She's Tessa Darling's personal assistant and while she has spent most of her time in NYC since the Darlings/Leo moved to Dunhaven, she has made her way down a couple of times and is relatively familiar with town.

Trying to make a long story short, Jules was raised in St. Louis and her mom was basically as stereotypical Stage/Dance/Pageant Mom as humanly possible. She lost her opportunity for stardom and she immediately transferred it to her daughter and placed a lot of pressure on her. Jules hated every second of it, but wanted to make her mom happy and even went so far as to be named Miss Missouri Teen USA and Miss Teen USA in 2007, but she ended up losing her crowns when not long after she found out she was pregnant. Her mom and step-dad lost it and kicked her out, leaving her paternal grandparents to scoop her up and move her to NYC to take care of her and their great-grandkid. She is very thankful to her grandparents because she has no idea where she'd be without them. Her daughter, Ellie, just turned 11 in May.

When Jules isn't herself, she moonlights as Lysandra from the Throne of Glass series. You can read more about her in general here; I did mark one place where there's potential spoilers for the series if you're worried about that, otherwise it's safe. She just moved to Dunhaven this month, in time for Ellie to start middle school, so she's still relatively new to full-time Dunhaven living. She is familiar with the dreams/other lives, though, both through Tessa and because she's been having her own dreams for a while now. I'd love some plots! People she might know through the Darlings, people she could have met when she's been in town in the past, new people she can meet... I want it allllll.

ALSO! I did update Everett Marshall's canon; he's no longer Major from iZombie, but Chaol Westfall, also from Throne of Glass and will be found at chaol. There's a theme here. His history is much the same, outside of some tweaks to where he went to college and his ex-fiancee, but that hasn't come up much in game anyway.

This is Maia Sparks! Maia is the youngest of the Sparks children, actually six months younger than Oliver, because she was adopted into the family just after her first birthday. As such, she is a Dunhaven native, having been raised and attended the public schools (class of 2007!) before then attending the university, where she got a degree in Public Relations. She is also the mother to Kylie Wentworth and the traditionally on again/off again (currently off again) girlfriend of Wyatt Wentworth. As such, it might not come as too much of a shock that she moonlights as Inara Serra from Firefly.

A few other things!

→ She works as an event coordinator at Enchanted Events, where she can plan just about anything but specializes in weddings. She's been working there since 2012 and is very, very good at her job.

→ Early on, she did date a bit during off periods with Wyatt. The dates were usually set up by mutual friends or blind dates and they never went very far at all. Honestly, anyone that knows her is pretty aware that she's in love with Wyatt. She is aware of it herself, really. But, if anyone has a guy that would like to be one of those failed first or possibly second dates with her, I'd be game!

→ Maia has celiac disease and type 1 diabetes, both of which she was diagnosed with in her youth. She has learned how to control and regulate both through diet and lifestyle choices, as well as medication. (This is basically to mirror Inara's disease plot that they never got to touch on in the show.)

→ Her adoption was closed, but she's currently working with an agency to try to get her files unsealed for health reasons. Because celiac and diabetes tend to be hereditary, she's concerned that there might be more than she should be aware of, especially when it comes to what she might have passed onto Kylie. Once this happens, she'll eventually find out about a half-sister she didn't know she had, but that's for future Maia and Oceana to worry about.

ETA: I forgot to say! As a point of reference, she's dreamed much of Inara's past, basically stopping just shy of renting the shuttle on Serenity. She knows of the dreams thanks to the town being what it is, but she hasn't really talked to anyone about them and has been mostly ignoring them.

One more from me, because ~I do what I want~ This is Naomi McKinnon aka Shuri from MCU!

Naomi originally hails from Canada, specifically Montreal, whose parents are a Canadian Senator and lawyer. She grew up in an English speaking household, but she's fluent in French because she attended a French private school before choosing to go off to a more challenging boarding school in the United States. See, she is smart. Like, really stinking smart. But, her parents chose not to have her advance in grades as they didn't want her social development to suffer. That just meant that she was bored in school and it tended to get her into trouble. Boarding school was good for her as it was more challenging (marginally so, at least) and had a lot of activities to keep her busy. It's also where she met Miles McKinnon!

After graduating, she opted to stay in the US on a student visa, which her parents were okay with because she was going to Harvard. What they were less okay with was when she and Miles got married two days after her 18th birthday, but in true 18-year-old #yolo form, Naomi didn't really care. She and Miles have been happily married since, even if it did mean they found out the hard way that adulting wasn't as easy as it looks. She graduated from Harvard a year early without her parents able to keep her from speeding through her studies and has been attending medical school at UofD since fall of 2018 when she and Miles moved to Dunhaven.

Naomi has been around almost a year now, so I'd love friends and the like for her. She's ridiculously outgoing and friendly, so it's not hard for her to meet people, should we want to think up connections. I was also thinking about having her have a summer job, if anyone wants to hire her on for a few months! (Also, someone should pick up T'Challa, just saying.)

Hi guys! I am here to interrupt the Insta posts (all of which I LOVE and will probably be contributing more to shortly 🤷) to introduce this guy. This is Tobias Parker, who was Matthias Helvar from Grishaverse in another world.

Tobias is the oldest of the three Parker siblings, coming a full fourteen years before his youngest sister. He attended Aurelia (class of 2005) and was quite the jock, taking part in football, lacrosse, and wrestling, with football being his best sport. Despite that particular stereotype, he was a smart guy that got decent enough grades and really loved to read. He just happened to also be very tall, very beefy, and sports came easily to him. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy SEALs and absolutely flourished with them. He met Rei Hondo online and the two fell for one another quickly, getting married a year after they first started chatting. They eventually had two daughters, Emiko and Hanami, and Rei moved from Chicago to Dunhaven to be closer to family and Tobias when he had to be on base, as his team was based out of Virginia Beach. Distance and the time he spent away from Dunhaven and often overseas without being able to tell Rei where is was going and often not be able to contact her at all eventually became too much and they decided to divorce, before their relationship turned ugly. Anyone that knows Tobias, though, would know that he's still as in love with Rei as ever.

Near the end of 2018, Tobias was injured while deployed. The injury was severe enough to medically retire him as he was unable to continue his duties as a SEAL. He's spent the last six months doing therapy, both mental and physical, and then getting things squared away in Dunhaven so he could move home. Basically once he's introduced IC, he'll have been back!

I would love plots of all sorts for him! He's kind of set on exes, but I'd love friendships or figuring out connections through his sisters. He has been away a lot for the military, but he has returned whenever he's on leave because his family is here, of course.

UNRELATED! In case you hadn't noticed, I have updated Rowena's canon. She is now Natasha Romanoff from MCU! Her journal has changed to blckwidow, but the only other thing is that I'm just going to say that she's had some dreams of Natasha's early life and hasn't really known what any of it meant or recognized it as a Dunhaven Dream. Other than that, everything else is the same. :3

Hellooo! So I don't entirely know how this character just seemed to fall together in my head, but she definitely did and I've decided not to question it. This is Phoebe Wu! In another life, she is Art3mis from "Ready Player One", specifically the book.

Phoebe is a Dunhaven native, though she left for college and is only just now coming back to town after having been away (outside of holidays and visits home) since fall of 2012. The middle child of three sisters, she was pretty happy in her younger years to sort of exist in the shadow of her sisters. She was shy and withdrawn for most of her childhood thanks to elementary school bullies that laid a foundation of shaky self esteem. She has a birthmark on her face that covers her left eye and part of her cheek, which made her the target of teasing as a child. (This obv isn't in her icons, so we must all pretend.) Though she started to open up more near the end of high school, it wasn't until she went college that she really came out of her shell. She attended Athena and graduated in 2012.

For college, she went across the country to attend USC as they're #1 in Game Design and that's her life goal. She struggled socially in person with people as a child, but she was much more comfortable when gaming online and that gave her a love for video games. In 2013, she made Twitch and Youtube channels, deciding to sort of play around as the former started to get popular. Thanks to timing and quality content, she's now the #1 followed female Twitch streamer and is pretty popular in the gaming and eSports communities as a personality. Being in LA helped her career when she first started out, but given that she missed being close to her family, has a job that is pretty mobile as she isn't beholden to anyone else, and seeing a gaming company find success in her hometown of all places, she decided to make the move back to Dunhaven after being accepted into the university for grad school. She'll have just gotten settled in when I introduce her in character!

Otherwise, I would love plots of all shapes and sizes. Since she grew up in town, I'm sure there are people she'll have known from school or family friends, so people she kept in touch with or maybe drifted and can reconnect with would be great! Any other connections in places are also welcome. I wouldn't mind family connections, maybe cousins or something? She's half-Chinese and otherwise white, with both parents being native to Dunhaven. Other than that, she's wide open! Gimme stuffs~

Hi friends! This is Rachel Marlow aka Andromeda Tonks! You can read a novel about her here, but here's a sort of quick rundown:

Rachel is the younger sister of Luke Marlow and they are the only surviving members of their immediate family. She spent the first eleven years of her life in DC, then moved to Dunhaven when their family relocated for her father's work. She attended the public schools, graduating in 2013. In school, she was a huge overachiever, both academically and with her activities. She was a cheerleader, played clarinet in band, did theater productions, was in show choir... all the things! After high school, she moved to Philadelphia and attended college there for Nursing. She did take a semester off of school during her sophomore year as she had lost her older sister and parents in the span of seven months and it was just A Lot. (And, you know, there was that whole scandal her brother got himself into.) During that time, she worked at the flower shop in town and just sort of worked on her own stuff and be supportive of Luke, but eventually she did go back and finish her degree in December 2017.

She's been in Philly working since she graduated, but she's recently made the somewhat spur of the moment decision to leave the big city behind and return to Dunhaven. Rachel started having dreams about Andromeda Tonks a couple of months ago and they made her question a lot of what was going on in her life, including a relationship that she knew was going nowhere. When I introduce her IC, she'll officially be back! She's going to be working as an RN at the hospital, so look forward to seeing her lovely face, fellow hospital folks.

So, yes! I would love friends for her! Back in school, she got along with pretty much anyone, so there's friendship opportunities there. She did come home pretty frequently to visit Luke, so between that and social media, those friendships could have stayed alive, if you'd like! Other than that, she is Theo's sister-in-law and makes appearance at Wolfe holidays when she's in town, so she'd likely know all y'all. And, you know, if you wanted to pick someone up, I would love a Narcissa or Bellatrix. 😉

I think we all saw something like this coming SO HI! This is Isaiah Erikson aka Max Everhart from Renegades. Some info about him:

- He is the younger brother of Zeke Erikson!
- He's 22, turning 23 in April.
- Currently a grad student at UofD, pursuing his Masters in Architecture. He is also a TA and an intern at Aetreum Designs.
- Though born and raised in DC, he moved to Dunhaven for college and has stuck around since. He lived on campus during his undergrad, but recently moved to an apartment at Pine Ridge.
- He was a pretty sickly kid and while he's mostly grown out of that, he does have asthma that keeps him from taking part in sports as much as he'd like to. Instead of doing sports in school, he focused on the arts, particularly choir, orchestra (cello), and theater. He also focused pretty hard on his academics because he wanted to get into a good school with a decent scholarship, which is how he got into UofD in the first place.
- He's a super nice, pretty sweet guy. He just likes meeting new people and making everyone around him happy.
- Outgoing, easy to meet and get to know. He kind of has an aura around him that tends to draw people to him. He's just good at putting people at ease and making them comfortable enough to open up to him.
- He's going to be getting involved with the community theater in town eventually.
- Loves his niece more than anything.
- He is adorable. No, really. I can't get over how cute his PB is. He does have Jordan Fisher's piercings and is similarly tattooed, though skipping the Alexander Hamilton one. Sorry, A.Ham.
