Hello Dunhaven! This is Jach. Please say hello to my newest addition to the town. This is Violet Shepherd, who moonlights as Yennefer from The Witcher series on Netflix.

Violet is 21 and a Dunhaven native. The Shepherd women are pretty well known throughout town. Violet's grandmother, aunts, and cousins work out of a blue house at 106 Raven Way that deals in various fortune telling, from Tarot to tea leaves and more. Most of them have natural abilities and their clientele is loyal to them. Of course not everyone likes or believes in them, so they've had their fair share of negativity thrown their way throughout the years.

Whatever you think of them, Violet doesn't much care. She faced a fair bit of bullying in school before she learned to put up some personal defenses. Once high school hit, she really embraced the "Witch" label the town had put on her. She dresses in black, with dramatic makeup and long dark nails. She's got a hefty amount of sass and attitude and is very guarded.

In addition to giving tarot readings and brewing "tonics" for customers at Ravens Way, Violet also has a second job bartending at the Pourhouse. She's only worked there for about 2 months, but she's been working her ass off to be as good as possible at her job. She's starting to become known for knowing what drink you want before you even order.

As she's pretty closed off, she likely doesn't have many close friends (beyond her BFF/Cousin Jane), but she's open to casual/friendly acquaintances for now with the possibility of becoming closer.

She's been dreaming of Yenn for about a year, but isn't open about it and hasn't mentioned it to anyone outside of her immediately family members.

Hi friends! Jach here with a new character. It only took me like three months to finally finish his profile.

Say hi to Dion Gardner, soon to be brand new arrival to Dunhaven. Dion was born in Chicago and raised on a farm. He's the youngest of three boys and his extremely grounded and laid back. He's quite funny and charming in his own way and tends to make friends easily.

Or not so easily in some cases. While attending college in Wisconsin, Dion met Cassia Holt and was intrigued by her. After multiple ignored/rebuffed friendship attempts, he finally won her over. It took them awhile, but eventually they became very close.

There was quite a bit of back and forth and bad timing that kept the two of them from ever becoming more than friends, but they are still extremely close and have kept in touch since her move back to town.

Dion has been dealing with his dreams for awhile now and is half convinced that he's lost his mind. However, a few recent comments from Cassia started him wondering if maybe he's not the only one dealing with this kind of thing.

He will be arriving in Dunhaven on Cassia's birthday as a surprise. Both to see her, and to find out for sure if what he thinks is happening might actually be the truth. Once he gets let in on the town secret, he'll be deciding to stay.

Once he does, then there's the matter of his currently unknown half-sister, who also happens to be living in Dunhaven.


His alter-ego is Peeta Mellark from the Hunger Games, so HOLLA to other Hunger Games dreamers. Hopefully he'll be able to make some new friends once he's settled in. He's very outdoorsy, will be working with the VA department of Agriculture, loves baking and being creative, and is just all around a nice person.

Also- is there a community garden in Dunhaven? If not, he's definitely going to be starting one.

Hi! Hello! Salut! C'est moi, Jach. I come bearing a new character today.

This is Dr Margot Fischer! Like her big brother, Gideon, Margot is also a doctor of pediatrics over at Dunhaven General. She is bright, bubbly, knows all about Pokemon, and wears Wheelie sneakers to work.

Born in Baltimore, Margot lived in Dunhaven for a few years as she attended Athena Academy. She graduated in 1999. After finishing at the academy, she went on to med school in Boston, then residency there as well. She actually opted to stay there until late 2015. At that point, she spent two years working overseas with Doctors Without Borders. When she returned home in 2018, she decided to move back to Dunhaven, and she's been here ever since!

She's very sweet and friendly! She's someone who will happily stop and chat with you at the farmer's market or when out picking up something to eat. She's caring and empathetic, and is a good shoulder to lean on in hard times. She's got her brothers and her future sister here, all of whom she loves deeply. I'd love for some friendships for her though! Past flings/flirtations (of the female variety, please) are also completely welcome!

Her canon counterpart is Arizona Robbins from Grey's Anatomy. One of the few characters to escape the show with a happy ending. She's been dreaming about Arizona for the past year, since she arrived in Dunhaven, and has mostly adjusted to it. Those closest to her would know about it, but she isn't super public about it.

Sup hi, it's me again. More interestingly, this is Sullivan Matthews aka Scorpius Malfoy from Harry Potter. I am going to make a wild attempt at keeping this short and sweet.

- Sullivan is originally from Boston! He comes from money on his paternal side and is related to the Nichols fam (and the Salazars by marriage kinda through Vanessa) on his maternal side. He came to Dunhaven when he was 11 and started going to school at Aurelius. He graduated in 2013 and was on the crew team. He was pretty shy overall in school, though anyone that got through his shyness was rewarded with a very loyal friend.

- Went to the university and finished his Masters degree in spring of 2019. He's now working at a museum in DC.

- Quick facts: He loves to read, but doesn't own many books as he relies on the library. He's a surprisingly good cook. Loves playing video games. Total introvert and is pretty socially awkward when he tries to people outside of his comfort zone. He accepts Sully as a nickname, but only from people he's particularly close to.

- Low key in love with Landon and has been for like... ever. But he's also his best friend and has been since they were 11 and Sullivan not here for ruining that with things like feelings, especially since he's pretty sure there's no way said feelings could be returned. So he pines away in silence.

- And there's more about him here! I mirrored a lot of the early life canon stuff for Scorpius, so there's some tragic stuff in there, as a head's up.

I would love to talk lines and friendships and all that good stuff! I'd especially like to discuss stuff with the other Wentworths, since he's been basically attached to Landon's hip for years now.

Hellooooo! I couldn't let Andrea be the only one to intro a newbie today (even though I can't use Frozen 2 for an excuse. There'a a bunch of snow and ice in Skellige?). But this is officially my YOUNGEST character, huzzah! He's 20, still in University, and he's THE BLACK KNIGHT at Baltimore's Medieval Times when he's not at school.

Meet Gavin Fischer, younger brother to Gideon the pediatrician. He went to Aurelius, so he's been here a while. He's also dreaming of Geralt of Rivia. Younger crowd, have at! Toss a coin to your Witcher.

Hi gang! I'm Whit. I think I know most of you, but for those I am just meeting - I have two dumb cats, I work for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center, and I would probably die to get a decent ramen place in this godforsaken hellhole. My job is pretty demanding and has me travel a decent amount, so I am planning on waiting a while to make sure I can handle one character before expanding my list despite all of my desires to the contrary. Andrea has been instructed to babysit me in this regard.

This here is Theo Salazar! He's Preston's little brother and uncle to Sofia and Elias, and if you're into linguistics, you may be enrolled in one of the classes he teaches at the University of Dunhaven (he just started teaching this semester - a 101 class and two 200s). He's only been in town for about two weeks now, so he's brand spankin' new in all regards. He's a nerd but an easy-going one; he enjoys esoteric texts and dimestore novels both. He's fairly quiet, but not socially anxious, and makes friends easily so he'll definitely be popping up in comments and whatnot getting to know his Dunhaven neighbors. He's heard the ~rumors~ about this place after all, and finds Dunhaven's whole rep fascinating. Consider him not having speaking up on social media IC; I've decided he's a Luddite and he waited a little bit to buy a new laptop after his old one died (tragic tea-spilling accident that may or may not be based on Real Life Events). At any rate, assume that his family bugged him until he got a laptop and a social media account. He's mostly a nice guy! I say "mostly" because he does have commitment issues and has a nasty side if you're not nice to his loved ones, but no one's perfect etc etc.

His ~past life~ was Thurvishar D'Lorus from The Chorus of Dragons series by Jenn Lyons, which are all excellent bricks. There will be five books in the series, and two have been released; Thurvishar had a bunch of "SURPRISE!!!" moments in the first book so I'll keep it vague to avoid spoilers and just say: Thurvishar D'Lorus is from one of the royal families of a vast empire. He's both a talented wizard and a dick. How dickish? Like, charming dick or totally reprehensible dick-dick? You'll have to read the books and ~find out~. (Seriously, they're great, with lots of twists and turns and shades-of-grey characters. Thurvishar is one of three POV characters, and he writes snarky footnotes correcting the other two POV characters when they screw up their history/mythology/linguistics/cultural assumptions. He is literally the "well actually" guy. Delightful stuff.)

I want everything! In particular, I'd like to figure out the Salazar family, since he'll know them and their SOs, and if any university student is in his classes I should probably know that too. THANK YOU. <3

HELLO FRIENDS I binge read the raven cycle books and now here we are. This is Alexis (can call her Alex, that's fine) - she is the counterpart to Adam Parrish, who is a complicated combination of independence, angst and slytherin ambition. She's part of the girl crew with Mo, Cerys, Hannah and Jane?? She grew up in a poor and abusive household and got out of that with the help of her friends, and is now on her 5th year at Dunhaven University. She was class of 2015 at Athena Academy, NOT a rich kid but was one of the really intelligent and gifted ones who worked her ass off.

She lives in a studio apartment above the local church (but doesn't really attend herself, cause she's usually working), has worked at K Auto since she was 16 and has ambitions to do something great with her life. What, I have no idea. The books are very vague on what Adam actually studies for :P But she's pretty in-line with canon, so she has an affinity for some magic things - Jane's family has kinda adopted her in the sense that now they think they need to teach her all about tarot cards and she's just kinda been going along with it ?? She's trying not to be an asshole to people just cause they're nice to her.

ANYWAY yes, here she is. things??

Hi, all! It's Terri. As Jeanne already explained on her recent intro, we are all up in our feels about Alex's departure from GA, so we're bringing Jolex here to give them happiness since their lives are probably going to become a dumpster fire on the show.

This is Embry Marshall, who is going to be dreaming of Jo Wilson Karev. She has had a few medical-type dreams, but nothing specifically relating to Jo yet! She is the only daughter of the Marshall family, and the third eldest child! She is going to be 29 in March, and will shortly thereafter marry her fiance, Gideon Fischer.

Embry was kind of a child prodigy in academics, particularly in science and math. She skipped several grades and graduated Dunhaven High School in 2006 at fifteen as Salutatorian, just behind Angie Phillips. She had several college credits already under her belt when she left high school to attend Dunhaven University in the nursing program. She graduated as an RN after five semesters, just before she turned eighteen.

From there, she went to Philadelphia. She worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and attended the University of Pennsylvania to earn her certification as a nurse practitioner, specifically with a focus in being a midwife. She had a really horrible relationship when she was in Philly, and came home still pretty heartbroken, but she immediately focused on her work and she's a damn good midwife.

Em has been with Gideon since 2016, and after several failed proposals, they finally got engaged in 2018. She's actually pretty darn excited to be marrying him soon. She also has her eye on like ALL of you because she knows what happens during snow storms.

So yeah! She should be pretty well-connected all things considered. :) Throw what you have my way! I'm always up for bingos and plotting with any of mine!

After fully avoiding the show for fifteen years, I've recently fallen in love with Jo and Alex from Grey's Anatomy. It's entirely Terri's fault. But with the recent news that Alex's actor is leaving the show, we're (obviously) coming to DH to, yanno, mend our broken hearts.

So, this is GIDEON FISCHER, who is/will be dreaming of Alex Karev! He's going to be one of the oldest folk around, which I'm sort of excited for, since I haven't had a lot of interactions with that crowd yet. He's 38, originally from Baltimore, MD, and an Aurelius grad of 1998.

After Aurelius he moved to Boston for med school and then to Philly for his residency. He took a brief sabbatical while his mom was sick (and eventually passed), then came back to Dunhaven to work at Dunhaven General in late 2015.

If the journal name wasn't obvious, he's a pediatrician! So, blizzard babies, he'll be ready for y'all. ;)

Most of his connections to the town are likely going to come from his engagement to the youngest Marshall daughter, Embry. She's ten years younger than him (oops?), but they've been living together since 2016 and engaged since 2018. They're getting married this April!

The Fischer family is a new one to town, and I've left things fairly open in his family history if anyone wants to bring in siblings at some point!

Hello friends!

Jach here with probably my last character. Please say hi to the youngest Kane sibling, Maeve. She follows after rescueyou and madeforwar. She is currently sixteen (going on seventeen) and is a Junior at Athena Academy.

She is exceedingly shy and fairly awkward with people she doesn't know very well, so she likely won't have a TON of connections in town. She's lived here since she was about three, but is pretty sheltered and sticks very close to the people she knows. She suffers from a lot of anxiety and depression and doesn't open up easily. The most important people to her are her siblings (this includes you now, Dottie!) and her BFF Maggie Phillips.

She is very intelligent and is top of her class at the academy. She's also very creative and spends a lot of time drawing/painting/taking pictures/designing clothing/doing various crafts. She also works part time at the Dreamery, so you may have seen her there!

Her alter-ego is Queen Elsa from Frozen. Maeve has been dreaming about her for just about a year now, and has experienced most of Elsa's younger/teen years. She's very well aware of who Elsa is and has watched all the movies.

She hasn't acquired any of Elsa's powers yet, but that may be changing very soon. :3

Would love love LOVE if we could get some more high school aged characters in game for her and Maggie to interact with.

This is Matt and I decided I needed more social/extroverted characters so that I'd have more opportunities to interact with your characters instead of forcing poor Dandalorian outside of his comfort zone (also belatedly realizing I passed up on a good journal name).

SO I BRING TWO.

First is Oscar Ford, this journal. He's actually been here in Dunhaven for 2 years! He's a manager over at Calm Waters, working for Nick, tends to frequent Stella's for lunches, and is otherwise largely charming and probably well-known for doing right by people as best he can. Ex-Coast Guard, sup vets! Never saw combat, though, but did a lot of search and rescue as well as border patrol.

Second up is Grace English, though she goes by a shortened version of her middle name these days - Tori. She's in the New York Ballet Company (corps, not principal) but is coming down here ASAP due to uhmmm problems at work. So you'll see her soon. She's sisters with Jules Hart and Sylvia English, who are already in game. She does not know Sylvia is here. But she's good-hearted, loyal, but snarky as fuck (sorry, blame the years she spent with her ex, Mica). She'll be your friend, tho, as long as you aren't a dick. Sorry, dicks. (not)

Hello friends! Jach here with a new character to toss into the mix. I've got another on the way, but as this character has a somewhat time-sensitive arrival, I wanted to get this up ASAP.

This is Fiona Clarkson, age 33. She is the big sister of Ezra (bowtruckles), and has flown across the country from her home in Portland for his wedding. She'll be arriving in Dunhaven Monday afternoon and will be staying at the Cozy Cottage B&B for the week.

She currently thinks she's just here for a visit, but that will be changing soon. For the time being, her interactions will be mostly text/social media based, since she won't have access to the town network until she decides to stay.

Fiona is a Dunhaven native and is also a pretty powerful psychic. Her abilities began to manifest at a very young age, and in an attempt to avoid small town gossip/judgement, her parents shipped her off to boarding school in the UK when she was 7. She remained there through grade 12. She got married right after graduating and lived in Ireland for the duration of her marriage. Said marriage ended messily after just a few years, unfortunately. After that she moved back to the states and has been living in Portland ever since. She's a certified Reiki master and works as a healer and a professional psychic (she does tarot readings). She's also a Wicca practitioner!

Her canon counterpart is Morgana Pendragon from Merlin. She's been dreaming about Morgana for a few years now, but due to her other abilities, hasn't been too bothered by it and thinks they're memories from a past life. She'll be extremely interested to learn about everything that's been happening in town!

Personality wise she's very passionate and has a big heart. She's the first to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, but is quick to hold a grudge if she feels she's been wronged. She can be quite blunt and honest and will always speak up for what she feels is right.

I do have some thoughts/ideas about the possibility of her ex-husband being Merlin. I thought it could create some interesting interactions considering the way their stories went in the show. If anyone might be interested in that, feel free to reach out! Or if you have any other ideas to throw out. I'm open to anything.

New character! This is LAZ DELACROIX, soon to be visitor to town and future dreamer of Lily Evans Potter.

29 years old. Legal analyst. (Got his law degree but never sat for the bar exam. Whoops.) Lives in London, England. Son of parents who emigrated from France and Italy. (Speaks all three languages fluently.) Related to the Aldermans and Lyons through the respective French and Italian sides of his family, so he has cousins in town here. Has visited Dunhaven before, but not for several years. Will be coming in to town next week (ish/tbd) for the Lyon wedding.

I bring you Dan Jarrett, single dad with a gifted toddler, aka The Mandalorian. I won’t spoil anyone on the series though I am more than happy to chat it up! He’s basically ex-military turned private security consultant turned civilian with some PTSD (but who doesn’t have that these days). He may be hard to get to know, but he’s a loyal friend and will die for this child. I hope he fits in well! I see he may be the oldest character here lol

HEY this is Laila Khan - aka James Potter. Gone are the Marauder and Hogwarts and taunting Snivellus days, and instead are the days where she runs the Cozy Cottage B&B and torments her siblings. She grew up a troublemaker, went to Athena Academy the same years as Lyra and Remi - class of 2009. Laila grew up super boy crazy (it's why her parents threw her in Athena) so any ex boyfriends over the last decade are totally welcome. Or previous hookups.

She'll know you if you "OCCASIONALLY FREQUENT" the Cozy Cottage (which I'm saying was owned by an old lady and she's worked there for years and then took over last year), Athena gals, exes, and people who are friends with her brothers!

Okay, hi. This is my last character for a while, all right. (Definitely.) ANYWAY! This is Esther Shaw, who moonlights as Essek Thelyss from Critical Role. She's not yet in town, but has been texting her brother so I figured an introduction is necessary. ( Click for info! This got long because I wasn't paying attention. )

So anyway! She is going to be brand new to town, so I know that the people she will know personally will be limited. However, she's pretty friendly and can be social when she wants to, so I'd love for her to make friends and connections. She won't shy away from people that recognize her, if they make that known, and will probably be spending a lot of time at the library and local coffee shops. I also would love old connections too, if we can think of ways people might have crossed paths with her; her hometown, college, Chicago, just from traveling around? Let's see what we can figure out. <3

SO YEAH HI this is Andrea with Poe Dameron / Preston Salazar. You might be able to tell from the name - he's Eli's (and Sofia's!) uncle. Cool, young uncle. He is part of the old crew tho, being 37. Vanessa was his older sister, so he shares some trauma there with Eli and Sofia, and moved to Dunhaven just in the past year to be both closer to them and his best friend (the future Rey, being apped by Kit!).

Basics: Charming, energetic, outgoing, adrenaline junkie, geek. Super supportive of the Derby team and probably volunteers as medical at home matches. He's an EMS Helicopter pilot for Dunhaven hospital & local surroundings, and since it's a lot of waiting/downtime, he does volunteer work at a few different places too. I threw him in Pilots N Paws with Carol - he has his own very used & rebuilt helicopter that his niece and nephew helped him make fly-able, and the 2nd room on his house is an airbnb just so he can afford the payment on it. 😂 He's in the public D&D group! He also enjoys playing video games and is down for that. He's friends with Medhi, drinks wayyyy too much coffee and can usually be found at the local pawn shop on his days off.

Important Info: He has a corgi named Bee who's very well trained and goes with him a lot of places. You've definitely seen them around.

THAT'S IT. We'd love a Finn to round out their little trio, but he could also just use some other friends! He's outgoing and if you're 25+, he's probably flirted with you. Oh and he's someone that will actually enjoy salsa night.

Hello! It's meeee, chiming in from vacation with a new character, because if Andrea was going to play someone from Critical Role, y'all know I couldn't help myself. So this is Michael Beaumont, who moonlights as Beau Lionett from Critical Role!

Michael, who goes pretty much exclusively by Mica, has a whole complicated history listed out in her bio (please note the content warnings before her history) but here are the bullet points: ( More heeere! )

That's baaasically it! Though, as a note, due to her father's politics and hers severely clashing and the distance between father and daughter being noticeable, she has become accidentally known in some political circles through her social media and general involvement. She's very outspoken and doesn't shy away from letting her opinions be known. Her intent is to eventually get into politics in some way, potentially as an adviser or something background. For now, though, she just uses her presence online to bring light to issues, causes, and such that she believes in. Bonus that it pisses her dad off. A lot.

ANYWAY. I'd love things for her! Past relationships would have probably been vaguely casual and she is a lesbian, but I'm open to plotting! Also open for future things! Friends would be wonderful as well; she's very much about chosen family, so she makes a good friend once you get past her somewhat prickly exterior and hesitance to open up. Since she's been in town for a while, though, I'd say she's had time to make some friends outside of Chase. :3 Hit me uuup.

Hi guys! This is Jach with a new character to toss into the mix.

Please say hi to David Hargrove who moonlights as Diego Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy. David and his brother, Kurt, are brand new residents in Dunhaven. They moved in a few weeks ago and are currently renting Theo Wolfe's old place.

David never knew his birth parents and grew up being bounced around foster homes for most of his life. So you can imagine he's got a lot of issues with feeling like he's not good enough. It was during one of his stints in a foster home, though, that he met his brother. So At least some good came of it all. He lived in New York City for his entire life, but I highly doubt his paths would have crossed with anyone, so he'll be needing lots of new connections!

David decided to pack up his life (and brother) and move to Dunhaven after a series of tragic events in both of their lives. He's trying for a fresh start here. He has no connection to Dunhaven prior and honestly just picked it off a map because it seemed to be the complete opposite of New York. He's currently in the process of opening up a gym in town called the Body Shop. It will be opening up in the coming months so if anyone has any characters who might be interested in being a trainer, lmk.

He's a pretty intense guy who doesn't exactly let people in easily. He's blunt, hostile, and sarcastic. But if you can dig deep enough to get past his asshole tendencies, he's a good guy who just wants to help people and be loved for who he is.

I'm pretty sure Andrea and I are the only ones in game currently who watch TUA, but should that change at all in the near future, we'd love to see more of the Hargreeves siblings in game. There's definitely plenty of opportunity for them to be foster siblings of David and Kurt.

So, yes. Please give me things for him to do. He's prickly, so it might be tough for some relationships to develop, but I promise he's a good guy. ♥
